The Holocaust Memorial in Washington DC prevented WW2 from happening again?

What is you are afraid will be prevented from happening again if we build a memorial to the Sandy Hook dead?

Stop the nonsense. I said building a memorial to a tragedy alone is silly if there is no action taken to stop it/prevent a recurrence. "Fear" has nothing to do with my post, yet you seem be stuck on that word. To prevent a Sandy Hook crime would require ESP, and better school security, as I have explained as well. While the perp was clearly crazy, even criminally insane, we had no system in place to involuntariliy commit him, in fact, many that knew him said that he was a "nice quiet boy". Disarming the entire nation is not going to happen, so efforts to prevent crimes before they happen must be taken in different areas.
