Sure, but I've never heard of the government actually confiscating anyone's weapons which were originally legal.

Yea that may be the case now but apprently in New York they may not be for much longer according to the bills they just passed.

    Let's hope not.

LOL! Did you hear about this? What a dumb ass, huh?

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A troubling oversight has been found within New York State's sweeping new gun laws.

The ban on having high-capacity magazines, as it's written, would also include law enforcement officers.

Magazines with more than seven rounds will be illegal under the new law when that part takes effect in March.

As the statute is currently written, it does not exempt law enforcement officers.
Nearly every law enforcement agency in the state carries hand guns that have a 15 round capacity.

I think that the only people thinking that smaller clips will save lives in a mass shooting havent ever used a firearm with a clip before. You could stuff your pockets with clips because it only takes a second to switch them. Also the Sandy Hook shooter didnt empty his clips he reloaded a new one frequently. So he could have had clips with only 5 bullets in them each and he still would have killed the same amount of people. And most likely he could have killed the same amount with a bolt action rifle.

They said they have time to fix it because the law won't be in full effect until March. That's what that idiot gets for rushing through a bill like that. I wonder if he even read it first?

As far as I'm concerned Cuomo is nothing but a traitor to the American people. I've got lots of other words I'd like to use too, but I'll get in trouble.

Ah. So elections are not valid any longer. So leaders that know what is right have to fix it? What church do these leaders attend?

Are you saying that you agree with this infringement on our second amendment rights? Not sure of your point here.

Not exactly. I'm trying to understand how you are going to use the right we have. How do we execute it? Under what rules do we operate? That kind of thing.

What are you talking about? The right to bear arms. It's pretty self explanatory.
