Yes, Any further Obama backed Legislation might cause a Civil War.
Maybe, It matters what happens in the near future.
No, The U.S. is not nearing a Civil War.
Somewhat, People like Alex Jones will cause the nation to further split along their opinion lines.
Not Possibly, This is just a small uproar that will soon pass over.
If we didn't start a widescale insurrection after Ruby Ridge and Waco (OKC bombing notwithstanding), then I doubt that we will have one anytime soon. If we simply regress to a Clinton style "assault weapon" ban, I don't see too much trouble. But as I said in another thread, who knows what Holder's Justice department will choose as the test case to enforce any upcoming legislation, and how seriously the suspects in that case will take the federal encroachment? Because of the bumbling of Reno's Justice department, hopefully Holder has learned lessons and will dot his i's and cross his t's thoroughly before proceeding on an entrenched gun nut...
The morality of abortion is not a religious belief, any more than the morality of slavery, apartheid, rape, larceny, murder or arson is a religious belief. These are norms of the natural law of mankind and can be legislated even in a completely religionless society.
Yes. Obama is secretly encouraging a civil war, and he will use the war to get emergency powers from the Senate, towards the end of the war he will be horribly scarred in an assassination attempt by Seal Team 6 after they learn his secret plan. Once the war is over, he will declare the US to be a Galactic Empire.
"To waste, to destroy, our natural resources, to skin and exhaust the land instead of using it so as to increase its usefulness, will result in undermining in the days of our children the very prosperity which we ought by rights to hand down to them."~ Theodore Roosevelt (Message to Congress, Dec. 3, 1907)
Well, I think very few serving military personnel would be willing to commit treason against the United States to satisfy some bizarre right wing theory of government.

No, people are not willing to fight. Many people these days go to government to solve their problems and think they can fight to get whatever freedom they lost back with the delusion they did so in the past(they didn't) While the people that cry about the second amendment won't do **** and are living in a cloud of stupid. For one, they already allowed their second amendments rights to be cut back and for another they allowed and supported their military to get to the point where they can not in their wildest dreams fight them back. There is a very good argument to be made for not allowing the countries military to get more powerful than the people can destroy, but there isn't much to be said about people that go around saying they want guns to maintain their freedom while supporting the government restricting the possession of military grade equipment and the further expansion of this power difference.
