Alex Jones is "crazy" (more a muckracking yellow journalist who doesn't mind getting it wrong as long as it stirs the pot) and the people who have taken him seriously are generally doing so for partisan reasons. Have we all forgotten his expose on Bohemian Grove? How about how the extreme left at the time was all onboard with taking that seriously because it made republicans look bad.

Finally, if you're a listener and fan of Art Bell/George Noury you've already jumped into the crazy pot and are just the right customer for Alex.

Regardless of what some guy on the interwebz thinks he can do...... (lets be honest... I've met more 500lb bench press champions on the interwebz than probably exist in real life)....

I honestly don't think the person who suggested that these "assault rifles" that shoot 100 rounds per minutes knows the difference between a legal semi-automatic weapon and an illegal fully automatic weapon.

I think we should start a poll asking what the definition of "Semi-Automatic" is and see how many morons answer that you pull the trigger and it keeps shooting until you stop it.

That does not seem to be the case.
U.S. most armed country with 90 guns per 100 people | Reuters
U.S. citizens own 270 million of the world's 875 million known firearms, according to the Small Arms Survey 2007 by the Geneva-based Graduate Institute of International Studies.
About 4.5 million of the 8 million new guns manufactured worldwide each year are purchased in the United States, it said.

So Americans own round numbers one third of all the guns in the world, which is half of what I claimed. Now do more Americans own guns than before, or less?

Yes magazines can be fixed and internal, fixed and external, and detachable. Keyword in the last sentence- controversially. just helping ya on the path to not sounding like every other smuck who thinks he knows enough to comment on just what he can do with firearms.

Just between us, not many can yank their trigger twice a second, most of those who can don't hit crap.

I can believe that. Like I said, I might can squeeze off a 100 RPM but most likely couldn't hit the side of the barn if I did. And if I did, I'm sure my barrel would get so hot that accuracy would be thrown out the window. Just at the shooting range it gets hotter than a two dollar pistol just sighting it in. I can only imagine the melt down after 100 rounds in a minute. LOL!

No, I am more of a "one shot, one kill," kinda guy. My clip (your magazine, LOL) only holds 4 rounds and I have one up in the chamber. I never even put more than 3 in the clip (your magazine,) because I know I will not need them.

I can say honestly that in the last 15 years or so, I have yet had to fire the second shot to take down my target. But that has a lot to do with my scope and my rifle and my certainty of aim before I even pull the trigger..

I can bench press 500 pounds.

Of course, they are British pounds and they only weigh a few ounces.

I thought about weight lifting once. But they are way too heavy. I wouldn't lift weight like that (even if I could,) unless I was getting paid. LOL!

Ya, I think Alex jones has bigger plans than spending much of the rest of his life rotting in a jail cell.

I would rather have more guns around so that when someone does go crazy and start shooting, that there's a better chance that someone nearby would be armed and be able to have a better chance at ending the madness BEFORE POLICE arrive.

Oh, and a well armed society is a polite society because anyone you slight has the capacity to end you.
Also, since it seems that most mass shooters also tend to commit suicide once confronted, the sooner someone confronts them the sooner they might choose to end the rampage themselves.

Have to disagree with you there, Canada has far more stringent gun laws and is far more polite, Same for England (not scotland those scots are right bloddy beggars, no offense to any scots on the board)

Is Alex Jones "crazy"? I just watched this interview Alex Jones vs Piers Morgan on CNN (FULL ORIGINAL) No Commercial - YouTube with him apparently just yelling at Piers Morgan and all he did was just yell and say "your not gonna get the guns!", "all your gonna do is your factoid questions!", "i already went over the questions", "your a hatchet man for the NWO!". Alex Jones just plays the victim card the whole time and wont even answer a question. Is Alex Jones crazy?!

Hard to tell. Might just be an act for his base audience, maybe he's a loon. Would have to personally see him without the facade to know for sure.

My "semi-automatic" is just not capable of firing that many rounds a minute no matter how many time I can pull the trigger. It just is not capable. After 3 rounds on the range the barrel is so hot you can't touch it. And the clip (or, magazine for our buddy,) that could hold 100 rounds would probably be 3 foot long and weigh a ton. LOL!

But I have fired around 3000 rounds a minute with my military gun before. That still gives me a boner to this day. LOL!

Canada, general populaton polite, absolutely. England? No freakin' way.

Even when I did get paid to haul heavy **** around, the bench press was worthless to me. Back, leg, and core strength is far more practical than titty strength.

Never underestimate the value of titty strength. LOL!

I don't think he is insane at all, in fact as a Jew with close access to the inner circle of the ZOG I can confirm a few theories/details from Alex Jones and a slight few he was unaware of:

A.

1. The NWO does exist. It is run by an international banking clan.
2. This NWO is subordinate to the Illuminati.
3. The Illuminati is in turn controlled Hebronic Council of the Most Lordly Elders of Zion.
4. They serve a dark and powerful master.

B.

1. Chem trails are real, but I cant tell you why we do it.
2. (It's to **** with you).
3. Obamacare is a ruse to forcibly medicate all Americans.
4. 9/11 was an inside job, but we did it for the laughs, not because we needed it.

C.

1. The War on Drugs (and drugs themselves) were invented by the Government (controlled by the groups seen in A) as a means to send armed paramilitary death squads into American streets.
2. We routinely kill dissidents. Except the ones who pose no threat to us...
3. All elections are pretty much rigged.
4. The illusion of competition is really a collusion of dark power behind the scenes.
5. We are a perfect tyranny.

Careful or this thread will be sent down to the conspiracy theory section.

Also for real though, there are only three kinds of people who say Alex Jones isn't crazy:

1. People who share his views and are thus crazy.
2. People who don't really know what he thinks aside from his raving CNN video.
3. People who are such rabid, knee jerk ideologues they'd follow a corpse if it had an anti-Obama sign around his putrefied neck.

Disclaimer: The above poster is a relatively conservative, gun owning & gun show loving, Mitt Romney voting Republican. Just to beat the 'hurr de hurr yer just a liebral'.

Canada, general populaton polite, absolutely. England? No freakin' way.

True but the accent makes 'em sound polite even when they are being complere nits! thats gotta count for something!
I will add the Swedes and Norweigans to the list of polite countries

And I slop feed my bolt guns, no need to put any rounds in the mag. Can say I never needed a follow-up shot on live targets, and having a round under is using a crutch. ;)

Now I can't make the claim that I have always had first round hits on steel/paper targets. I use my 308 out to 1000 yards and in winds exceeding 35mph. Can be a tad challenging and humbling, but if you never miss then you are not learning anything new. A very wise idiot once said, a man can have 15 years 'experience' but if he is only using the first three years he isn't very curious. Here is to many more misses in your future, it means you are pushing your limits and learning, making those 'years of experience' mean something.

The crowd I run with doesn't have too many amateurs in it, and none use the term clip for a magazine, best of luck.

Seriously?

Well, that may be true as we have never met.

If the gun can handle it, I KNOW I can pull a trigger at least twice in one second. That adds up to 120 RPM.

Lemme see.... <sets stopwatch..> 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and.... Yup, I'm SURE I can squeeze off at least 100 RPM's. But that would require a pretty big and heavy clip. Not sure I could hit the side of a barn with it but I could surely pull the trigger faster than a cat can lick it's ass.

You nailed it. The sensitive triggers with quick repositioning it would be no trouble at all to get off 100. Even with a thirty clip folks who practice and have good coordination can flip out and replace a clip in a couple of heart beats. It's a technicality anyway...in Aurora the shooter killed 12 people and injured 58 others. Exactly what is it folks fail to understand? A military style, semi automatic assault weapon only has one purpose....the quick, mass killing of human beings.

It's magazine, not "clip" and what I learned from the Aurora shooting is that gun free zones are really whackjob's hunting grounds.

I choose:

6. He's Not Crazy, but pretends to be so for personal gain (i.e. an audience) and I don't take him seriously
