I dont think Alex believes what he spews. He has just found his place in the wing nut blogosphere. Like Rush/Fox/Beck and others he just says what his followers want to hear.

When you have a population seemingly afflicted by 'misinformation' I feel he does believe in what he spouts. This misinformation can have a very damaging affect upon general discourse. Just look what 'misinformation has the power to achieve:

"The Harris Interactive Poll, taken July 5-11, shows that half of Americans (50 percent) believe that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction when the U.S. invaded. That represents a rise of 14 points from February 2005 when only 36 percent thought Iraq had WMD. "

Percentage of Americans Believing Iraq had WMD Rises - World Public Opinion

That was a 14% increase from 2005 to 2006. This, when much of the worlds pre-invasion skepticism was proved correct when no evidence materialized, that proved Saddam actually had 'any' weapons of mass destruction.

I doubt that only because you can go to YouTube and see him 15 years ago preaching the same message, and most of what he said 15 years ago is a reality today... And in many ways worse than he predicted.

Now I can't make the claim that I have always had first round hits on steel/paper targets. I use my 308 out to 1000 yards and in winds exceeding 35mph. Can be a tad challenging and humbling, but if you never miss then you are not learning anything new. A very wise idiot once said, a man can have 15 years 'experience' but if he is only using the first three years he isn't very curious. Here is to many more misses in your future, it means you are pushing your limits and learning, making those 'years of experience' mean something.

The crowd I run with doesn't have too many amateurs in it, and none use the term clip for a magazine, best of luck.
That makes sense. I really am not a gun freak and at best could be considered an amatuer. My shooting is pretty much limited to sighting my rifle in at 100 yards, (which usually takes less that 3 rounds because I haven't had to touch my scope in almost 10 years,) and shooting a whitetail at whatever range they come before me. I have never taken a shot at a deer over 200 yards as I have been fortunant enough to have them come in closer. I would be reluctant to fire at 300 yds but I know better marksmen do it all the time.

I did, however, shoot quite a bit of trap in my younger days. I always enjoyed that.

When you guys get to talking the technical details of weaponry and ammunition, it goes right over my head. But I read it just the same hoping I might learn something. I particularly like reading Turtledude. He's pretty gunsmart too.

Overall, when I look at the source material, or look into topics he's brought up, more often then not he is accurate, of only on a general sense...

Some of his guests also have uncanny abilities to predict certain matter (oil prices / gold prices) to an order of around 80% accuracy.

BUT, if you get most of your information from MSM sources, well, most of it doesn't get covered. Example; in the op video, if you have the patience watch Morgan cringe each time the ssri drugs./ sons or drug companies.

The reality is that you are not supposed to know that those drugs have the side effect of both / either suicidal thoughts and actions and psychotic breaks.

I don't think most of those things are happening, and those that are fall into two categories:

    1. Good. Or subjective, but assuredly not evil.
    2. Hardly salient predictions.

Moreover you ignore the insane reasons and context he gives for his predictions.
