See what I am getting at chief?
Roger that Caine. I get you loud and clear. Surely, the gun's trigger tension would be a factor.

But you have to keep in mind that my fingers pick Geddy Lee type bass runs almost nonstop, for one hour, before taking a break. And I do this for three hours per show. I'm positive I can squeeze off a minimum of two pulls per second for at least a minute, if not an hour.

But, to your credit, you DID say "No one you ever met," and we have not, in fact, met sir.

Well, that may be true as we have never met.

If the gun can handle it, I KNOW I can pull a trigger at least twice in one second. That adds up to 120 RPM.

Lemme see.... <sets stopwatch..> 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and.... Yup, I'm SURE I can squeeze off at least 100 RPM's. But that would require a pretty big and heavy clip. Not sure I could hit the side of a barn with it but I could surely pull the trigger faster than a cat can lick it's ass.
It would require a big MAG, not clip. and you wouldn't hit the broadside of a barn.

Yes, I am aware of this. People who suddenly start giving their posessions away, we should be concerned with.

I share. I help folks out. (Just yesterday, I drove all the way to Escanaba, MI (8 hour round trip) just to pick up a friend there who was stranded.) I have been this way all my life. My wife always nags at me about this.

She is right. I should start doing more for myself and less for others. But that's just the way the Good Lord made me. Can't help it.

    Tomato, to-mah-to.

The "magazine," as you call it, on my rifle is detachable.

I was raised calling the internal storage of ammunition within a rifle the "magazine."

Appearantly, the definition is controversial. But I think we all know what I am talking about just the same, no?

A magazine is an ammunition storage and feeding device within or attached to a repeating firearm. Magazines may be integral to the firearm (fixed) or removable (detachable). The magazine functions by moving the cartridges stored in the magazine into a position where they may be loaded into the chamber by the action of the firearm. The detachable magazine is often controversially referred to as a clip.[1][2] <snip>

Its just another way for Democrats to get their social welfare programs.

    Consider it "self-service" program.
"I condemn the ideology of White Supremacy and Nazism. They are thugs, criminals, and repugnant, and are against what I believe to be "The American Way" "
Thus my obligatory condemnation of White supremacy will now be in every post, lest I be accused of supporting it because I didn't mention it specifically every time I post.

Funny you mentioned that. I have a relative that is the definition of an Obama hater. He's is the stereotypical, trailer home dwelling, rebel flag waving, liberal hating, John Wayne worshipping redneck. Yet, he hasn't held a job for longer than nine months in his entire 50 years of living on this planet. All jobs combined, I doubt he has in a total of working 4-5 years his entire life. He gets food stamps. Rent subsidies. Free medical. A total welfare case.

He fails to see the hypocracy in his ideology. I just shake my head at him and say, "But for the grace of God go I."

He kind of reminds me of this guy....

Yes magazines can be fixed and internal, fixed and external, and detachable. Keyword in the last sentence- controversially. just helping ya on the path to not sounding like every other smuck who thinks he knows enough to comment on just what he can do with firearms.

Just between us, not many can yank their trigger twice a second, most of those who can don't hit crap.
