    So far, so good.

She should inspect her original loan docs, to see if there is a prepayment penalty.
If not, BOA can't charge it, if I remember right.
I asked her..and of course she is having problems finding it...but the small print harry it would be buried in 3 huge pages of legal mumbo jumbo...
For all my general all the time transactions I have a credit union...for checking...visa etc...
I also have USAA military banking and insurance etc...I have a very very low interest rate master card with them...

One of the most important things I learned from my father was, "Never sign anything without reading and understanding it." When I went in to finalize my first home loan I thought the lady was going to have an anxiety attack! It took me a half-hour to read all that junk. She was wringing her hands after five minutes.

Did you read the Rolling Stone article in the OP, Harry? You'll see that you are not quite correct. Interesting, eye-opening stuff, to say the least.

Well, the problem I have with articles like this, is the same problem I had in school.
To summarize, get to the point already.

    Give me figures, the information.
I don't need a long drawn out story to get the gist.
