Could a Presidential candidate with a full beard get elected in today's society?

Or, would stigmas and stereotypes get in the way?

Keep in mind that I am not asking what YOU would do, I'm asking for your judgment of society overall.

    Male, of course.
If you claim sexual harassment to be wrong, yet you defend anyone on your side for any reason,
then you are a hypocrite and everything you say on the matter is just babble.

Yes, it's just that clean shaven (except side burns) just looks more trustworthy, you can't change that until we start electing more people with beards.

No more Rutherford B. Hayes's. What an injustice we suffer in modernity.

Today, a full beard would most likely signify membership in a religious minority, like the Amish or Mennonite Brethren, Shi'a Islam, Fundamentalist Mormonism, and so on. None of these minority groups are likely to win a national election any time soon.
I dip my forefinger in the watery blood of your impotent mad-redeemer (your Divine Democrat — your Hebrew Madman) and write over his thorn-torn brow, “The true prince of Evil — the king of the Slaves!”

Only if he would sport this beard:

In order to display, in plain view, the big octopus that has taken hold of washington.

Nobody said a candidate cant have a beard, I'm sure appearances dont matter to most people anymore.
