Why does the economy remain unfixed?

Any ideas?

Translation please. No idea what you are asking.

Interesting how the poll doesn't really have any "answers" as to why it's broken.

Your poll is biased and broken and also provides insufficient poll options.

No, it isn't. These questions are easy, answerable, and they reflect popular answers taken from various pundits. There is also an "other" option for you to share your own insights.

The "other" option should be used if there is 1-2 other options in particular. That isn't the case.

You have numerous other answers to put in the poll. Your failure to do so indicates a bias to cover up people who are to blame. Please correct it and make the options more realistic.

You would first have to define "fixed" and explain what a fixed economy looks like exactly. Only then could we draw a line from where we are to where we ought or want to be.

These options are realisitic in many pundits eyes. As I said before, this thread is aimed at the Enlightened Left. If you don't like the questions, then I encourage you to leave. ;)

There is no such thing. You may also want to switch from being an independent to something more... leftist in order to avoid being a hypocrite.

He really should change to rabid republican to be accurate.

I'd love to know what a "fixed" economy is.

Well, I watched your post in one of those other threads and I have to say that indeed, he seems to be bipolar.

On some issues on the far right and in certain cases on the far left.

I haven't seen much of him but this poll seems to indicate his leftist bias...

But being bipolar is not the same as being independent.

So Hannity?

Excuse me. I have to leave the room to avoid disturbing half the continent of Africa with my laughing at such an absurd measure.

Too bad you don't get to set the rules.

I chose "It was never broken to begin with," mainly as a way of saying you're begging the question.

Fletch was right, in a recent post. The question can't be answered until there is agreement/definition as to what a "fixed economy" is.

The questions are simple. Love them or leave them.

I have debated a switch to the Conservative side, so stay tuned on that one. ;)

It's simple. The economy is still broken because we haven't addressed what was wrong with it in the first place. It is still geared towards creating profit, not products, and not community. The economy is an engine for creating wealth for the few who own everything. And then we wonder why the rest of the populace withers.

that is part of it....there is a fundamental imbalance in the opportunity market. When people do all the "right" things and still can't make it, they become angry and bitter.
I think a major part of it is that the current unemployment is more structural in nature than the economists want to admit. We had the information age mature on us overnight, and there seems to be nothing to replace it with but the service age, and service jobs never did pay well.

I believe the greedy profit more from an unfixed economy. If not, it would have been fixed a long time ago.
