I propose media blackouts, those prevent media from glorifying killings not restricting video games.

Better parenting. And for your case, not blaming everything but responsible parties.

So your going to have police bust into people's homes to check for 18+ content, even if you do how do you rove that a minor was playing it.

Re: Do You Think That Violent Video Games/ Movies Are An Issue

I used to be of the opinion that violent video games were to blame, but they are all over the world as well as really violent movies and other nations don't seem to have the problems we do. I do support ratings and don't think really young kids should play them, but beyond that...

Just an observation on my part though.

Violent crime has been going down for decades.

Just stay the course, rather than concoct useless bans on video games, movies and guns.

Thank you for further evidence that violent video game makes people more accepting of violence.

if you are an american you are in the wrong country, this is a free country and you are talking nonsense about this subject.

Id keep my kids away from people with ideas like yours because i consider them more dangerous than a video game. My kid knows that is fantasy because she is normal, mental stable and knows right from wrong because she was properly raised..

Please tell me how this provides further proof that video games make people more accepting of violence?

Do you contest that violent crime has been going down?
Another of your fabulous non answers.
I was discovering that life just simply isn't fair and bask in the unsung glory of knowing that each obstacle overcome along the way only adds to the satisfaction in the end. Nothing great, after all, was ever accomplished by anyone sulking in his or her misery.
