can we have a MONEY and SEX option?

Cell phones, disposable and untraceable, are the epicenter of crime in America. Take away the cell phones and arm everybody and I bet you crime rates fall to zero.

It's mind boggling

Was America crime-free before 1990? ;)

How could either of these things cause crime?

Obviously the radiation off of the cell phone is going to mutate the revolver into having legs and it's going to go around killing people.

My vote goes to secret option 3; "People".

Back when a cell phone could be used as a weapon, certainly. Now they've glamorized the damn things and you need a gun to back up your wimpy Iphone.

not sure weather to laugh or cry =P.

Neither. It is a joke of a poll due to the fact neither can influence anyone to do anything. They are nothing but inanimate objects or tools. Inanimate objects do not "cause" crime, people who chose to use the object in or for a crime is the problem.

Stupid question. Neither of this things has ever caused a crime. All crimes are caused by people making the choice to commit them, not by any inanimate objects which they might use in the course of committing the crime.

"The cell phone jumped up, it was coming right at me!"

I gave somebody a black eye with a miscalculated throw back when I owned one of these bad boys:

Personally, I think poor parenting and a lack of discipline has resulted in more violent crimes.

baseball bats are used in more murders than guns based on some chart I saw.

You have to be much more creative to harm with a cell phone than you do with a revolver.

Was it an eye chart? Sorry, that's the first thing that came to mind.

Just like before we had cel phones--the halcyon crimeless days of yore.

This thread is like... kind of stupid.

one could do some damage with this bad boy :

they didn't call it the "brick" for nothing.

I think it is valid to question if more people die as a result of using a cell phone while driving or if more people die as a result of handguns. Enquiring minds want to know.

Funny after the incident, the revolver/cell phone ratio went up. Ironic that this and the thread it was responding to was posted before this school shooting?

Oh, wait the school shooting isn't the first mass shooting. Just the most disturbing.

Not to mention people murdered with guns.
