But here's where you're wrong. I don't want anything. I don't need anything. I guarantee you that I have used government services to the same or less degree that you have.

I simply want a system that provides a basic safety net (ours is the weakest in the developed world ALREADY) that I will likely never have to use and a functioning nation with an economy that values work. Right now, we have an economy that devalues work and overvalues capital, while at the same time one that makes it very difficult to get access to capital for those who would like to start a business.

We're being passed by nations like Norway and Canada for start-up businesses because our model is NOW designed only to take care of those who have already reached the top instead of encouraging those who want to get there.

Your "let them eat cake" attitude assures that your party will not take the White House and is going to have trouble in congress for some time.

You despise working people and your disdain is apparent throughout your party.

Meh...while I agree there are some republican candidates that say some outright stupid things, I personally am not invested in the GOP being elected. I dont expect a ton of Libertarians to be elected any time soon. I DO expect there will be MORE debt, higher and continued unemployment, and things are going to steadily get worse until it blows up. Eventually, most major cities will become Detroit. When that happens...**** it and **** them. Eventually...it will be corrected, one way or the other.

HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY guarantee that
and I doubt you are paying anywhere near the taxes I do so your net use of government services based on what you use minus what you pay is far greater than mine

I despise those who intentionally impose costs on other people and are hostile towards those who fund their existence

I assume that you've never needed government assistance, or if so at any point, probably very little.

I have never needed government assistance. Thus, the same.

You don't pay for my existence any more than I pay for yours. I am not hostile toward your or your wealth. I'm hostile toward an attitude that suggests that you, the Koch Bros, the Waltons and others are to be worshiped like gods and we mere peasants who work to earn money should be thankful that you're around because you are somehow caring for us.

If you left the country tomorrow, no one aside from your direct family and friends would care. If the Koch Bros. shuttered their business and ran away with their money - no one would notice except for some of the charities they fund, and they would either adjust or go under. But here's what happens in America - someone will take their place. Someone always does.

Everyone with an over-aggrandized sense of self thinks they're irreplaceable.

    No one is.

Nah...they shouldnt be worshiped...but you COULD show a little class and say 'thanks for paying the bills' every once in a while instead of continuing to try to stab them in the heels with a stick.

I pay my bills too and I don't see anyone thanking me. Unless you want the government running up bills to send out thank you cards every April and giving higher payers bigger cards I don't see any purpose in it.

Do you see a bunch of rich people progestin and blocking streets whining about the poor? Staging rallies?

If I am paying a ton more tax than you do (most likely). meaning I pay far more for one dollar of indirect government benefits than you do

The rich have their own brand of handouts, which right now includes being able to pay less in taxes than is required to run the country.. hence the huge deficit.
