His presidency had some significant accomplishments--regardless if you agree with them or not--just like any other president in modern history. But they were significant achievements nonetheless.
- Issued an executive order prohibiting federal funds for international family planning groups that provide abortions and contraceptive services.
- Upheld the ban on abortions at military hospitals.
- Reduced taxes on dividends and capital gains.
- Made $33 million available for abstinence education programs in 2004.
- Supports the Defense of Marriage Act - and a Constitutional amendment saying marriage is between one man and one woman.
- Not once did Iraq ever attack America during his 8 years in office, due to his toppling of the Saddam regime.
- Expanded the role of faith-based and community organizations in after-school programs.
- Was the first president to get elected to have a DUI conviction, proving that anybody could be president, regardless of past misdeeds, and providing that you found Jesus.
- Saved America from the "Clinton Recession" that was starting it's slow creep in the late 1990s, with tax cuts for the rich.
- "Country-pop" genre of music made a triumphant resurgence during his presidency, moreso than at any time in modern American history.
- Christian "megachurches" experienced a huge boom during his presidency that survives to this day (albeit with lesser influence), despite President Obama's stubborn "War on Religion."
- Provided a "moral contrast" to the sexual sins of the Clinton White House.
- Pushed through THREE raises for our military. Increased military pay by more than $1 billion a year.
- Killed the old US/Soviet Union ABM Treaty that was preventing the U.S. from deploying our ABM defenses.
