    • Issued an executive order prohibiting federal funds for international family planning groups that provide abortions and contraceptive services.
    • Upheld the ban on abortions at military hospitals.
    • Reduced taxes on dividends and capital gains.
    • Made $33 million available for abstinence education programs in 2004.
    • Supports the Defense of Marriage Act - and a Constitutional amendment saying marriage is between one man and one woman.
    • Not once did Iraq ever attack America during his 8 years in office, due to his toppling of the Saddam regime.
    • Expanded the role of faith-based and community organizations in after-school programs.
    • Was the first president to get elected to have a DUI conviction, proving that anybody could be president, regardless of past misdeeds, and providing that you found Jesus.
    • Saved America from the "Clinton Recession" that was starting it's slow creep in the late 1990s, with tax cuts for the rich.
    • "Country-pop" genre of music made a triumphant resurgence during his presidency, moreso than at any time in modern American history.
    • Christian "megachurches" experienced a huge boom during his presidency that survives to this day (albeit with lesser influence), despite President Obama's stubborn "War on Religion."
    • Provided a "moral contrast" to the sexual sins of the Clinton White House.
    • Pushed through THREE raises for our military. Increased military pay by more than $1 billion a year.
    • Killed the old US/Soviet Union ABM Treaty that was preventing the U.S. from deploying our ABM defenses.

Hell no. He lied to the American people and created TREASON...he should be tried in criminal court for war crimes.

No he shouldn't. That's just as stupid an idea as the OP idea to memorialize him on Rushmore.

No, the idea to memorialize him came from lies; my idea to charge him for war crimes comes from facts and about 5 nations who will do that if he steps foot in their country.

Okay, I'll tell you what it would accomplish. Absolutely nothing except to waste a whole ton of money. He wouldn't get convicted, and if he did then you better start issuing warrants for Congress at that time too . . . oh, and anyone else who was involved.

GW BUSH should be placed directly on top of Mount Rushmore. No doubt about that.

Of course... And Obama too because, after all, Mount Rushmore is in the Black Hills of S. Dakota.

They aren't really black of course. Obama is. Alittle bit anyway. The first sorta black President but mostly isn't, just about like the prodigy of American slaves, but isn't, President of the United States. We should stive for a President that is about 70% African-American, slave ancestry, 20% Latino and 10% Caucasian (we'll catch other ethicities down the road) and, of course female. Bisexual because that covers all the bases mostly.

America has a lot of catching up to do. We can do better than this.

Underneath might be more of an attraction.

We could scatter his ashes there and save a lot of money.

If we put W's face on a mountain.....I suppose, in keeping with context, we'd need to name a valley for Obama.
