Does challenging Susan Rice make 0ne a racist?

Does challenging Susan Rice make 0ne a racist?

One would need to know the basis of the challenge.

Just challenging the confirmation per se is simply not enough information to determine if the challenge is an instance of racism.

It can't be ruled in OR out without more information.

What planet are you from? Have you not been following the news for the last couple of months?

Calm down. Switch to decaf and loosen your tinfoil.

When I post in a thread, I respond to the topic as it is framed.

The topic, as framed in its title, is "Does challenging Susan Rice make one a racist?"
The OP simply reads "What is your thoughts?" (by the way, it should be 'What are your thoughts?'...but I digress)

The answer is We Can't Know If Opposition to Susan Rice Is Indicative of Racism Without More Information.

What part of that answer, praytell, do you find objectionable, and on what grounds?

I am the OP and you are the only one who does not understand the question thus far.

I find it amusing McCain is the one criticizing Rice after he supported Condi Rice during the Iraq WMD fiasco .. oh and he also selected Sarah Palin to be his VP.

Are you on drugs or something?!?

I understand the question in the title of the thread just fine, and I gave an answer.

You acted shocked/incredulous, and so I asked you a specific question, which I'll now repeat:

What part of my answer -- (We Can't Know If Opposition to Susan Rice Is Indicative of Racism Without More Information) -- do you find objectionable?

the difference my left wing friend is both Liberals and Conservatives believed Saddam had WMD where as no one believed the attack was the results of a video....

when a black person is involved to the left its always about racism.

Absolutely. And a sexist. And a nazi. And a hater.

No challenging a liberal makes one a racist.

This is not an attack on libs or cons, this is about McCain's hilarious judgement skills.

Huh???????????????

Both statements are wrong - there were many who had paid attention to the ever so small fact that the UN weapons inspectors during the fall and winter of 2002, using US-supplied 'intelligence' found nothing, nada, zip. Then there was the small matter of the German government saying that 'curveball' was not to be believed. My father-in-law, a staunch conservative, a man who was a Pioneer for Reagan and Bush (+$100,000 donations) stopped answering calls from the Republican Party in the spring of '03

There were many who initially believed the attack as reported in the media in Europe and the States was kicked off by the video

just keep on believing what you want to believe but that will never make it true.

Oh -- and to answer the question -- NO, "challenging Susan Rice does not make 0ne a racist?" However - many of those who are challenging her capabilities as a diplomat are racists

I already responded to the Condy Rice thing and as far as Palin goes she was a bad choice and McCain paid for it dearly.

The senate almost unanimously gave GWB the authority to take Saddam out,

It no more makes you a racist than it made those U.S. Senators who challenged Clarence Thomas racist. You know, the ones that forced him to whine about 'legal lynching'.

wh-wh-wh-WHAT? You thought Sarah Palin was the best thing since sliced bread....NOW you say that she was a "bad choice"? Wow.......just wow!

And this goes both ways. Liberals criticized Rice on more expanded grounds, to be sure, but the scenario is somewhat similar. This is more motivated by partisan politics than anything (and to answer the OP, this essentially excludes race from discussion), and of course this makes few on either the Democrats or the Republicans look good.

The bit about Palin is just something stupid to say. I don't know why you included that at all.

The charges against Thomas were outrageous and proven so...The ones against Rice are not.....she made statements on 5 TV network that were proven as lies......
