McCain's mistake wasn't choosing Palin as his running mate, it was muzzling her natural abilities_

If he had turned her loose before the media did its hatchet job on her, she would have got results_

But after the media goon squad convinced the gullible masses she was a moron, it was too late_

Joe Biden on the other hand is a bonafide idiot who the left wing media works overtime to cover up_

Common Sense, the left doesn't hate Palin because she's a dummy, they hate her because she's a threat_

And make no mistake, they do hate and fear her__You have bought into a lie Navy Pride__Wise up!
 
There was nothing outrageous at all about the charges against Thomas. And he was the one to scream racism as soon as his particular brand of sexual harrassment was made public. So far we haven't heard that complaint from Susan Rice, which is one major difference between them.

Palin is a threat. To reason and common sense. She is a buffoon who deserted the people of alaska who elected her Governor. Just another quitter.

I prettty much agree with everything you said except the last statement........At the time Palin was not qualified to be VP.........She is now though/

If Thomas was guilty of sexual harrassment how did the get nominated to the SCOTUS?:confused:

Why? He made a really terrible call selecting Palin because it looked like he didn't really do his research on Palin and screen her properly for the job of VP. If he lacked the proper judgement to do that right, then it goes without saying that his shot-from-the-hip to accuse Rice is just baseless., let alone his vehement support for invading Iraq based on false info.

Far less qualified people have been elected to President_

A community organizer whose every accomplishment was the result of Affirmative Action comes to mind_

I would sooner have Palin as POTUS than McCain and definitely to the radical marxist racist now serving_

She's more patriotic, honest and trustworthy than anyone in politics and equaled only by Ron Paul_

And maybe she's not a genius but she is very intelligent despite what the media would have us believe_

Strange how the connection there does not seem to flow.

Many times I am an awful driver. Need my choice on clothing be questioned because of that?

If this were the case, we would be easily able to suspend belief of Clinton being a worthwhile State Secretary, because she too had supported the Iraq conflict on false info. That too would be ridiculous.

Rice did go on 5 sunday news shows and said the attacks were in response to some video..........She knew that was a lie but she fell on her sword for Obama.......What part of that do you not understand?

What I don't understand is how McCain is allowed to get away with calling her not very bright and unqualified, when realistically she was going on the info the CIA or whoever gave the administration. It just seems like an overreaction from McCain and other critics.

No, that is ridiculous. That is like saying that just because a black person was fired from a job it was because they were black. The term racism is thrown around so loosely that it takes away from the seriousness of what it really means. There is a racism in our country but to use the term as freely as we do today destroys the actual meaning of it for people who actually face real racism in their lives. It is like the boy that cried wolf.....eventually the word loses it's real meaning.

Because as soon as he screamed 'legal lynching' the Senators tucked their tails between their legs and ran. In other words, he played the race card.

She was relying on information provided by the CIA. It was not unreasonable, considering almost every other embassy in the middle east had been subjected to protests because of the movie. Maybe you were asleep when all of that was happening? Or were you out campaining against the Same Sex marriage proposition in your state. How did that turn out again?

Besmirching Amb Rice is not racism it is crass political grandstanding.

She didn't lie. She wasn't being "political". She stuck to the talking points given her by the intelligence community, she even qualified her answers clearly stating that it was early on in the investigation and new information would come to lilght. Maybe some of her detractors should actually watch the interviews she gave.

She is a highly respected UN ambassador that has done an outstanding job for america in terms of international diplomacy. She is a dedicated public servant, and yet a few republicans want to hang her for doing her job.

By their question of why she was on the talk shows that sunday its clear that these critics have no clue that the UN ambassador is one of the most senior people in the state dept, authorized to speak on behalf of the United States to the rest of the world. She was certainly qualified to speak on behalf of the administration and the state dept, which she did.

by all means investigate and get the serious questions answered, like what was the story with mission security? why was the ambassador travelling so "light" in a dangerous place? What was up with the turkish envoy he met? how long had the arms smuggling been going on? Why did the CIA rely on being covert for most of their operational security when it was an open secret the locals knew what was up? there's a great many questions to be asked and answered, but Amb. Rice isn't at all responsible for any of it.

LOL...What has Palin done since being nominated that makes her any more qualified now than she was then?
Being a Fox Commentator qualifies you for VP?
