It is just another day for me.

I do have to admit, that if I want to purchase something, like a laptop or an iron or something, and it is in the 1-2weeks of/before black friday, I usually wait until black friday to get better deals. But if I have no intention to buy anything, as it is now, I don't. It is just like when I go to the store and want to buy citrices. If mandarines are on sale and oranges are not, I usually go for the mandarines because why not. But if I don't want to buy citrices, it doens't matter if they are on sale or not because I won't buy any.

I will do my workout on Black Friday, if I do buy something it will be small items from a convenience store like snacks, energy drink, something like that. I absolutely REFUSE to participate in a cattle drive.

Doing anything else, other than getting near any retail stores.

Every day is Buy Nothing Day for me...unless I need to buy something.

I'm working 6a-2p today. I'll be buying lunch in our cafeteria and I'll pick up tickets for a hockey game on Sunday as I head home this afternoon. Other than that, I won't be buying anything today.

I will buy the normal stuff today, but will not go shopping.

Besides, almost all of my holiday shopping is ALREADY DONE and has been for a couple weeks.

I will not be shopping today simply because there is nothing I want to brave those crowds. In the past, I have shopped. If people enjoy that sort of thing - go for it.

Last year Target had some great deals on DVD's. I wanted to to get the first four seasons the BIG BANG THEORY but visits to three different stores saw the shelves cleaned out by the late afternoon on Friday when I got there.

I'm hoping the tool stores will have some sales today because I need some stuff for my business and we are headed into the slow season.

Well, that is different. If my wife said I was going shopping today, I would be shopping.
The wife is getting ready even as I'm typing this.... we're goin' shoppin'.

Like I said: If my wife is getting ready to go shopping, then I'm going shopping, too.

Retailers in Canuckistan have been jumping on the Black Friday bandwagon to keep people from crossing the border. None the less, I will no be going anywhere near a store today.

I've seen what happens, and I fear going to Wal-Mart on a normal day, but on Black Friday or Boxing Day, no no no no.

No way in hell I am going to fight crowds in town to buy stuff today. I am going to work on some pastels that I am giving as gifts, and do my usual work-around-the-house stuff. I value my sanity too much to expose myself to Black Friday shopping mania. ;)
