Nope too many world interests to form one world gov. Very unrealistic chance of ever happening.

I think that Global Warming will focus the world against a common enemy and a World gov't will be the only viable alternative to achieve common goals.
People aren't smart enough to have a global government, at least not yet.
We can barely handle a national government, as it is.
I was discovering that life just simply isn't fair and bask in the unsung glory of knowing that each obstacle overcome along the way only adds to the satisfaction in the end. Nothing great, after all, was ever accomplished by anyone sulking in his or her misery.
It will take about 1000 years, but I think the world will end up with one government.
