he will die in a terminus eldorado
If Ted dies, it will be in a Wango Tango with a White Buffalo in a Stranglehold Baby.

Wait a minute! Didn't Bill Clinton also dodge the draft? Joe Biden? Hmm. Interestingly, these guys were/are BOTH politicians! But go ahead and make a BIG deal out of a citizen draft dodger. How hypocritical!
did they intentionally defecate in their clothes to avoid being drafted while they were otherwise eligible
did they describe their draft interview as an opportunity to"wreak havoc on these imbeciles in the armed forces. ... and I’m gonna destroy ‘em ... I knew I had these chumps beat."
so yea, as you tell us, they acted the same way [/s]

Duh, that's simple. They DODGED THE DRAFT too. HOW they went about doing it is completely irrelevant.
how they went about it is quite pertinent
the nuge was eligible to be drafted and serve but for his filthy ruse
but show us where clinton and biden used deceit to receive their lawful exemptions and i will find your position credible
until then, it appears you are defending terrible ted's actions
I'll bet I could find a whole MESS of politicians who draft dodged. Just because they used "connections" and other methods to avoid the war is IRRELEVANT.
Besides, I think it's WAY more sickening that these rich politicians who are heavily connected were able to avoid the draft by using those connections. It just tells me how effed up our political system really is. I am MUCH more angry at a politician draft dodger who is a hypocritical, lying pompous ass than I am at Ted Nugent for dodging draft.
Well he made the proclamation.
Which one do you think will come to pass?

i'll give you some heads up, there are more than few people on this forum( all liberal democrats, oddly enough) who absolutely hate Ted.... not dislike, not peeved... hate.
the draft dodging angle is an odd one... folks will tear into a person who dodged the draft... but only if that person doesn't hold the same political lean as they do.
when asked, the vast majority of people will voice opposition to the draft... and still tear into folks of different politics for dodging it.
I did my time in Nam.. (enlisted, not drafted).. i'm not offended or disgusted at any man who dodged the draft.
there was a time when i had a problem with it.. but i was young and didn't really think about what the draft really was (it's a form of slavery), and it was me basically being selfish.
when i'm faced with someone who starts yammering on about draft dodging, I always feel like asking " why do you support slavery?" to the moron doing the yammering.
Ted dodged, Slick willie dodged, lots of dudes dodged ( every single woman "dodged").. and ya know what?.... good for them.. there is no moral imperative or patriotic duty to allow yourself to be forced to fight.
a country that will force you to fight is not a country worth fighting for.
How about just let him be a private citizen and exercise his rights of free speech?
Too much?
Well, it's certainly strange that people are all up in arms about private citizen, Ted Nugent, draft dodging, but not about politicians who are MUCH more sneaky and underhanded about it and could have perhaps even broken some other laws in the process? Good Lord, that's messed up.
Well he made the proclamation.
Which one do you think will come to pass?
this thread is discussing nugent's comment
when we are discussing the comments of others, especially when they are presented in chickenhawk fashion like ted's, it would absolutely be open season to examine their own service - or their efforts to avoid it
i doubt we will find a more extreme example than that concocted by 'patriot' nugent
how others see this reich wing nut:Why would it bother you that Ted Nugent dodged the draft and not bother you that a president of the US did? That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and, honestly, it sounds like you are playing partisan games here. If you condemn one (especially a private citizen), then you must condemn them ALL (especially a politician who is supposed to represent us). Dude, that is just messed up.
He's a sorry excuse for an American at that. One who avoided the Viet Nam draft by showing up at the draft board after not showering and defecating in his clothes for a month. A narcissistic pig who spent his life denigrating women and having underage teen groupies service him as they worshiped on their knees - a fixation that carried on later in his "political' life as he pranced around onstage in a vulgar profanity-laced tirade, touting assault rifles in each hand while calling 2 US Senators - the ex-First Lady and future SOS a "worthless b*tch" - and future President a "punk" - and telling them to "suck on his machine gun" and "ride it into the sunset".No - "Uncle Ted" never threatened anyone! LOL
Only a fellow draft-dodging wingnut "patriots" like Sean Hannity could label this despicable jerk "a friend" or "an American hero"?
Yet you defend this guy and do the same? Speaking of pathetic!
He's the PERFECT poster boy for what has become of the GOP.
Ted crapped his pants to dodge the draft. And now he prances around with gun props to pretend he's a tough guy.
Only a complete rightwing jackass would fall for this aging Boomer warrior nonsense.
Ted Nugent’s Bizarre CBS Interview Culminates In Profanity-Laced Speech About Being Moderate | Mediaite... he ran like the punk he is from a fight that had real
consequences unlike the phony bravery it takes to insult politicians? And the canard that "I'm not PC" is beyond tired. It is easy to be a gun totting patriot when the dear don’t shoot back. But what the heck, if Newt can talk about the sanctity of marriage, Palin rant about the vetting process and Santorum about abortion (after his wife had one) and not get laughed off the stage by the republicans, Ted can talk tough and still be a hero.

So I guess if you're a politician (especially one with a D next to your name), then it's okay to dodge the draft, but if God forbid it if you are a rock-n-roller. Lol! Silly indeed.
I predict that he will evade both, just like he evaded the draft.
Here is what really bothers me about him, though. He has so much support from the nutters on the extreme right, even though he dodged the draft. That's OK, they say, because they think he speaks the truth. He has even admitted to giving oral sex to Courtney Love when he was 45 and she was..... TWELVE YEARS OLD. But that's OK to those on the extreme right, because he speaks the truth.
OK, so what is the truth? It is obvious. The truth is that the extreme right proudly supports a child molester who dodged the draft. That, in itself, says a lot about the moral bankruptcy of the extreme right, doesn't it?
you are welcome to point to anyone - especially those who are democrats - who has been more of a pompous chickenhawk ***** than the nuge
i look forward to seeing what you have to offer
