If obama is impeached should romney be seated as president

No, that is the only way Obama is leaving the White House. He is in for four more years.
He won and now you guys are grasping at straws.

Am certain if he was assassinated many here would be cheering though.

I'm just saying if you say assassination and that name in the same post you get someones attention in the FBI.

If obama is impeached for something he did before the election that would have made him lose if it had come out should Romney be seated as president in his place?

Just by asking this question you reveal your motives.... you only want Obama impeached because you continue in denial as to the results of the election. Obama is not going to be impeached so invite yourself back to reality and deal with it....

In a perfect world you would not be in this forum.

Damn, just cut me off at the knees, bro. Throw another log on that Idaho fire and be happy I'm not buying property just down the road from you, neighbor. :2wave:

I realize it can't legally happen but in a perfect world if obama was impeached for something he hid to get reelected Romney should be made president.

Watergate happened before Nixon was re-elected. As a matter of fact it was illegal funds from the Comittee to Re-Elect the President (CREEP) that paid for the watergate burgaleries. It seems to me that when Nixon finally gave up the fight Ford took over.

Yea, either that or give it to the speaker of the house.

no, run the election again. speaker boehner speaks for 142,731 american citizens.

speaker boehner is the next in line of sucession. however, because we're illegally impeaching joe biden for something obama did in this scenario, i'm ignoring the law as well.

The impeachment process should not be reduced to the petty squabblings of partisan strategy. Unfortunately, Republicans already did that in 1998. Let's not go down that road again. Tying up the government with all of that nonsense hurt the country last time. It would do so again, and all this talk of a conspiracy around Benghazi is just stupid.

In a perfect world, there's no way in Hell either Obama or Romney would get elected.

The whole premise of this thread is idiotic.

well since obama won now we have to find ways of subverting the will of the american people and getting our candidate in.

And the Constitution as well, but who cares about that?

In a perfect world, this thread would be locked.

:p

On what grounds would he be impeached? Remember recent history when the Republicans impeached President Clinton who proved himself to be far more capable than the Bush president who the Republican worship at their feet.
There is no way Romney will be president. There is a legal procedure that must/will be followed and Romney in no way will figure into this scenario. I must say that the hatred some people have for poor Obama borders on the pathological.

You can't impeach someone for voter fraud?

at-least he has lots of experience, more than obama or romney can say.

perhaps, but he'll have to commit a crime first. and since he's joe biden who has been in politics since 1970, i think he's crafty enough to avoid making any such mistakes.

also you should all remember how the impeachment process works:
Impeachment in the United States - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
see that bit about the senate? yep. no impeachment on false grounds while the democrats control it.

Wow, if it was found out that Obama did something to make himself win the election that was against the law you think that he wouldn't get impeached because any such claim would be "false grounds"?

Might want to get some toilet tissue and wipe some of that brown stuff off your nose....

ummm....no. if anything there should be a new vote scheduled for a month or so down the road, and biden should be acting president until that election is decided and the winner sworn in. the losing candidate lost. he doesnt win just because the person who beat him goes to jail. new election, the will of the people is the perfect world, and it is not suited by your idea as you would deny them a choice they did not consent to.

^anyway this is the prez till january 20th 2017.

So if someone cheated in the Olympics or some other game the ones that lost shouldn't be made the winners? They should just replay the games? You do realize thats not how it actually works right?

Not saying that a re-doing the votes wouldn't be a bad idea...just you seem to have a real hard on for not wanting Romney as President.

If Obama was actually able to hide an impeachable offense until after the election, shouldn't he receive a raise and...I don't know, a plaque or something, for a fine display of consumate political skill?

I find it rather hilarious at all the libs in this thread that are saying that conservatives are just being crybabies (or some variant there of) when the OP was obviously posing a HYPOTHETICAL SCENARIO. The OP very well could have put any name in that post. But why not just use the current President to give some perspective? ....On second thought this thread has definitely giving me some perspective. But that perspective has nothing to do with conservatives.

No, the VP would get it. Then if he had to go to jail......

Can we seriously have like a compiled list of all the sore loser threads somewhere?

I believe what they meant was that if Obama's impeachment was due to something illegal he did before the election that was shown to specifically affect the outcome of the election, in which case he is essentially "disqualified", though after the fact, and the presidency would be assumed by the next runner up , which would happen to be romney, unfortunately. That would be the traditionally fair way to handle it, in my opinion, of course.

Is that what's going to happen now? Are they doing to abuse the impeachment process like they did with Clinton?

no vote

This would be proof that the tea bagging conservatives hate the American people.
Maybe there will be a revolution.
Our forefathers, in their wildest dreams, never thought that such a horrific thing could occur.
