Not at all. I have been following politics since 1960 at age 11 and there are normal back and forth swings of the pendulum. They occur more frequently than in the past and can be (as in 2010) more extreme and severe in a shorter period of time than in the past. Unless the GOP does something incredibly stupid such as double down on opposing Obama on almost everything like they did in the first four years or pursue this silly idea of impeachment, they should be able to return to being a viable contender. And even if they have troubles nationally with the presidency, they still have a very strong and dominant presence in many parts of the nation. It will also be interesting to keep an eye on 2014 to see if the Democratic base comes out or if we have a repeat of the 2010 disaster for the party.

Obama should be waterboarded and shipped to the Middle East for impersonating a US President.

    This is fun.

This is simply another one of those right wing cause celebre's that change with the seasons. If you do not inhabit right wing world, it is a story which means little to America.

If it was found that Obama did it, sure. But someone would have to prove that Obama did it, not some low level Democratic operative.

And so on down the list.

Whenever all 3 branches are gathered together - such as the State of the Union Address - 1 Cabinet Secretary, and, nowadays, 1 Representative, and 1 Senator are sequestered to maintain a continuity of government in case if attack. These are known as designated survivors.
Pretty good list, but I think you can abrogate Joe Biden - he's just a moron.

So in your world if obama made the decision not to send a rescue party in Benghazi and then broke some law in an attempt to cover that fact up it would mean nothing?

I would be happy to look at the evidence of that.

    He's still on the list.

Something to consider is that the President pro tem is the longest serving Senator of the majority party.

That means that there were times when Strom Thurmond or Robert Byrd could have been President.
Also, we need to legalize recreational drugs and prostitution.
