As for the question posed...To be honest, I wanna see 7, as opposed to 3.5. Just get an all new cast. I think that Fassbender dude could rock it.
Hey, that's a good call. Fassbender would be great in it. I know they'll probably do it, but, I hope they don't make a female Jedi the focus of the story. The best part about Star Wars is the heroine is a heroine because she is morally upright and strong, but not a Jedi. If they do that, I believe the movie will fail. Almost all action movies with a female as the main character flop.

I'm hoping one doesn't spend $4 billion before you even budget for an actual film without making sure that film is damn good.

New star wars: Iii.5 or vii?

Episode 7 please. I'm tired of prequels and focussing on characters who can't develop as characters (such as darth vader) or ruin characters that had a mystique (boba fett) in such a time period. No, I don't need to find out grand moff Tarkin was han solos biological dad.

Put it in the future and only involve the original cast to the point Yoda and Obi War were used in 4-6.

Doing a movie in between the prequels, and the original trilogy would be interesting, though it would be kind of hard to do I think, because they would have to focus heavily on the childhoods of Luke, and Leia I would think, and they were pretty quite childhoods I can imagine. Following Vader, and the rise of the Empire would be awesome, and you can't get enough of James Earl Jones, but I don't know if there's enough for 3 movies in that.

Which episode is it that Han Solo and Princess Leia finally do the nasty?

I am so much anticipating the sex scene between a 70 year old Harrison Ford and a drug ravaged Carrie Fisher that I can hardly contain myself.

Fisher accidentally taking Ford's Viagra thinking it's a narcotic of some kind. Ford looking for lost treasure in Fisher's fat folds thinking it is some weird Jabba the Hut, Indiana Jones crossover.

    Billion dollar idea here!!

In all seriousness, I think the best way to go is too just leave Lucas's story alone, he made his Saga, and make a new story in the vast universe that has been created over the years. Go back or forward in time far enough to avoid having to go in great detail about what happened, and focus on some new characters.
