So, which is it?
So, which is it?
I dunno, resigning over an affair doesn't seem like much of a face saving move, exactly. So I'm sort of inclined to believe it.
So what WOULD have been a "face saving" move, exactly? Not sure I follow your reasoning.
I highly doubt it. The admin didn't want him testifying about Benghazi.

OTHER - who cares
he's an american hero, he should not be swept under the rug for obama's failure to lead.

lol
you expect the US president to lead?
The primary role of all US presidents is to obey their corporate masters and behave themselves like good little corporate puppet clowns
Does anyone know what policy differences there were between the Democrats and the Republicans?
(and by policy difference I dont mean trivial side circus shows such as abortion garbage, gay marriage and stem cell research)
Yeah He made up a story that degrades his wife and exposes him as an adulturer and even names his mistress and he was being investigated by the FBI and it was all bs...LMAOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
So, which is it?
it just seems too convenient. did petreus potentially refuse to carry out an unconstitutional order/plan given by obama a known subverter of the constitution U.S. Can Kill American Citizens Without Trial: Eric Holder ?
I doubt it, otherwise Petraeus would have just resigned without stating the affair as the reason.
Besides, I haven't heard very much criticism about drone strikes from military officials.
perhaps he was threatened or had his family threatened.
If such is likely, then it is just as likely Petraeus has enough people loyal to him to deal with that, or get that message out to the media, and it would bring down this administration.
So I doubt that as well.
does he? i can't say. it just seems convenient that this suddenly happens, just after massive illegal actions by the obama administration; ndaa2012, extrajudicial killings, etc.
NDAA 2012 and drone strike assassinations have been going on for a long time. There's nothing sudden about them. And our government isn't really concerned with them. And the parties aren't concerned with them either, because they want that power. Which means political media outlets aren't concerned with them. Which means the people aren't concerned with them.
I'm not ruling it out - I'm just not jumping to conclusions.
Let's let investigative reporters do their jobs before we get ground down by the rumor mill.
