If they can't afford legal employees then they shouldn't be in business in the first place.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

good point-but the fact is, those who come here desiring welfare tend to vote at extremely high percentages for one party-the Dems. and they tend to perpetuate the welfare state and expand it

I don't think you want me to get into a debate with you about who supports big corporate farms with subsidies.

Specifically what concrete changes would you make? The path to citizenship is not that complicated when one follows the rules from the beginning. What rules would you change?

we do that so they throw away excess crops, and prevent their flooding the market and driving prices down to the point where smaller farmers could not make a living.

    Re: Immigration reform

I have mixed views on this issue.

    1. Illegals are illegal and need to be sent back if found.
    2. The children of illegals born in this country should be given a fast track to citizenship and maybe their parents too.
    3. If there are any illegals in the military leave them there and when they get out let them become citizens.

However I think expending extra resources or making up new laws for a "problem" that does not exist is wasteful. if we catch them we catch them. But they still need to go through the process one way or the other.

no but we do know who wants big estate taxes which can cause farmers whose land has become valuable to sell to big corporate farms to pay the taxes

people who come here to deliver "anchor babies" should be sent home with the kid. the child should not get citizenship based on the subterfuge of the parents
