Simple question. I would've asked it if Gov Romney won too so I'm preemptively striking the inevitable partisan hackery. Also notice that I didn't ask "How Much Will Pres Obama Add" I said "How Much Will Be Added".

I went with 2-4 trillion dollars. I hope I'm wrong and it is less for the sake of the Nation. The never-ending debt spiral has to stop. Money has always been about real intrinsic value and this current "medium of exchange" fairytale will have an unhappy ending. The only thing I know that can make jobs, grow the economy, and put a positive on the world at large is a National committment to Green environmental policies and alternative energy sources.

It will be $4-$6 Trillion based on estimates I have seen plus common sense. Government programs almost always come in over costs and savings are seldom as good as estimated. I assume we will have no new big program spending though that is optimistic with a looming recession.

I'd vote 2~6 trillion. $6 if we see another obstructionist house, $3 if a bargain is reached and spending is cut while taxes increase with an optimistic $2 if the economy takes off.

It depends which debt we're measuring. If we're talking about TOTAL debt, I think $4-6 trillion is the most likely. If we're talking about debt held by the PUBLIC (as opposed to the money the government owes itself), I'd go with $2-4 trillion. Either way, it will be less than it has been in the last four years, but still quite a lot.

NO VOTE
This must be handled by highly intelligent people with foresight and imagination, NOT but stupid, fearful politicians.
Our nation needs a ton of work, and now
An energy policy, as proposed by President Carter
Campaign and election reform
Health care.....at least the first step has been taken, thanks to President Obama
No more wars !
It in NOT how much these things cost, its how much the cost will be if nothing is done, and that is where we are today

More than $4T
The Obama will blame Bush for all of it.
His droolers will defend His statement.

Over 6 Trillion. The kid's unchained going into his second term. But atleast the guv will be adding a few thousand jobs every month.

The largest portion of intragovernmental debt is the social security "trust fund", which will no longer be purchasing US debt.

$4-6 Trillion. Hopefully. Obamacare is going to be very expensive, and the economy isn't going to go into real recovery any time soon.
