Huntsman is nowhere near the Democratic Party platform. All you need to know is his stances on social issues which will prove that. Huntsman has ideas consistent with the old Republican platform that used to win them national elections.

Chris Christie belongs to the Democratic Party. He needs to switch. He is a sell out to his party and I'll never give him an ounce of support and neither will many others who saw him hug and provide comfort to his opponent in the eye of the storm. He has no back bone. He might as well switch right now and run as a Democrat to many Republicans he is DOA - enough to make sure he will never win a primary. All they need is to show an ad with that nice bear hug and glowing endorsement 7 days before an election. Put a fork in him I can't stand Christie.
Are you serious? Christie has been outspoken against government spending, Obamacare, and government education. Christie did what he had to do when that storm devastated New Jersey. He threw the political crap to the side and helped his state. He thanked the President for the support and gave him credit that was justified. What did you expect him to do? Go all Jan Brewer on him? Christie has more backbone then most of those Republicans.

I selected Ryan. A true fiscal conservatives and with original ideas. Though I don't think he's charismatic enough to pull it off. Unfortunate the sheeple need a rock star and the Republicans don't have one. Maybe Rubio.
Original ideas? Really? C'mon now...you have to be smarter then that. Ryan follows the same hard right social platforms as most the tea party people. Ryan fiscal conservationism would take too many years, and he still supports the asinine funding of the military budget which needs to be slashed.
    Libertarian and Atheist...wow I'm a hated man.

Passed and supported a consumer and market focused Heath care reform in his state

Instituted a flat tax into his state

Passed his states biggest tax cut in history

Slowed the growth of government compared to GDP of his state

Created a repeat top 3 state in the country for business thru business friendly stances regarding regulation.

Call me crazy but that record sounds more tea party like than democratic.

I had really hoped Huntsman would have been the VP pick this time. I'd vote for him.

Yeah I knew he wouldn't have been though. Huntsman has the image of being too moderate like Romney. Romney needed a person who looked to be pretty solid in the conservative camp.

I like moderate. That's why I voted for Romney, McCain, Bush and Clinton (once).

Oh I like moderates too, but the makeup of the ticket still matters. I guess the foreign policy advantage that Huntsman had was outweighed by the negatives of him being on the ticket.

I would like to see Ann Coulter or Sarah Palin run just so I can laugh my behind off.

Ron Paul or Gary Johnson. Unless the economy completely tanks again (unlikely), then those are the only two candidates with a chance.

    I find that patently ridiculous
