You are right. I suspect we would have started asking this question weeks ago.

Huntsman or Christie mainly because they are sane.

The funny thing is, Libertarians spent the past few weeks on this site, responding to threads created by Libertarians and Conservatives alike, about how we should "fall on our own sword" for Romney.
As I pointed out in those threads, why in the hell should we?

    Luke 9:5
And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.

    Matthew 10:14
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

Even though many on this site will be annoyed by scripture, the point that is made in those two passages still stands.

I think a Rubio/Jindal ticket would be beastly. A Republican who is Latino and comes from a huge swing state? Uh, yeah, no brainer there.

I dont mean this to sound snarky, but maybe people should focus on their representatives as of January 2013. We have no way of knowing what 2016 is going to look like but please for the love of GOD can we at least wait a few years before we start campaigning for 2016???

Yeah, not to mention that the Earth is going to be destroyed in a month and a half.

Maybe that's why so many people voted Obama. Now they don't have to die as racists.

LOL, someone voted Santorum. Wow. Anyway, where's Ron Paul? The dude's old but he's spry.

While, out of that list, I probably would have to go with Christie, the fact is I really can't support any of the people on that list, or anyone currently representing the Republican party, which I think has turned into just as reprehensible an organization as the Democrats in the past 30 or so years. They just keep getting worse. In fact, all of politics is just getting worse, it doesn't matter what party you turn to, these are all people I'd rather never have a chance to run the country. Please, either give us someone worth voting for or put "none of the above" on the ballot.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

Re: As a Republian, who do you turn to in 2016?

Huntsman? His views are far more consistant with the Democratic Party then Republican. I wish he'd have run against Obama in the primary. He'd have had a better chance then in the Republican primary.

Chris Christie belongs to the Democratic Party. He needs to switch. He is a sell out to his party and I'll never give him an ounce of support and neither will many others who saw him hug and provide comfort to his opponent in the eye of the storm. He has no back bone. He might as well switch right now and run as a Democrat to many Republicans he is DOA - enough to make sure he will never win a primary. All they need is to show an ad with that nice bear hug and glowing endorsement 7 days before an election. Put a fork in him I can't stand Christie.

I selected Ryan. A true fiscal conservatives and with original ideas. Though I don't think he's charismatic enough to pull it off. Unfortunate the sheeple need a rock star and the Republicans don't have one. Maybe Rubio.
