I dont want to derail this voting thread

There's a poll and I don't really see anything on topic to argue about.

No, you didn't vote for him!

What sort of controversy is to be generated here. Where's the debate, if not in the details.

ps. There was a bunch of names I never seen before at the end of that ballot section. I felt kinda ig'nant.

ahhh the hell with it. Thread seems to be dying anyway.

since equal rights is FACTUALLY impossible with regard to abortion I must take a prochoice stance because thats the ONLY way to have anything close to equal rights.
WHen comes to abortion there are TWO lives in question. Unfortunately where the ZEF resides and how it comes to viability that doesnt allow there to be equal rights.

Outlawing all abortion is not equal because it gives all the rights to the ZEF and ignores the womans life making her a lesser.
Allowing abortion anytime any where for any reason like at 8 months and 30 days is also just as irrationally extreme because it gives all the rights to the women and ignores the ZEFs life.

ONE LIFE must ALWAYS be picked over the other LIFEthere is no other way, there are TWO and one always gets the short end of the stick.

Im fine with a candidate being prolife "personally" like biden is but if a candidate wants to make laws outlawing of fully opening it then its a no go.

IMO
Id like to see a national cap at 21weeks

20-21weeks,to the point viability, open abortion I side Mothers rights
22-31weeks., case by case both rights need looked at but a pretty solid mix
32+weeks, case by case still but I typical side ZEF rights

now the above time chart is just MY personal time chart based on my OPINION. Id be ok with a cap at 18 since that splits the 9 months down the middle but i dont really see the point since viability is impossible.

I see nothing right about forcing a women to risk her life against her will, theres nothing good or moral or equal about that. I side with the already born viable human being who is also a citizen over the unknown.
Then at viability I think its wrong to ignore the ZEF since it is also a life and you had time to decided what you want.

SO the fact remains there is no such thing as equal rights in this case but anybody that is all womans rights or all ZEF rights is even further from equal.

People are free to choose how they see fit and they are free to disagree with my time line etc but anybody who wants to outlaw abortion or have it wide open is as far from equal rights as it gets.

any other questions feel free to ask.

well its not really your fault you didnt know them, its the atmosphere of our politics unfortunately. I didnt fully know about Gary untill recently because I kinda brushed him off as one of the libertarians that would empower discrimination, and I never want any part of that but not knowing was my own fault.

heres some links to a post a made it has the main players and then a link to like 20 others lol, i bet you dont know any of them lol, i didnt either

i hate how the vote is tied, we're headin down the path of complete polarization, last time this happened was 1860 =/.

Who did you vote for? Not who are you going to vote for, please only vote after you have voted....if that makes sense.

I didn't vote for anyone. Both Omaba and Romney suck and my state screws presidential 3rd parties so I left that part of my ballot blank. So I voted in the rest of the elections and ballot issues.

I applaud your convictions, as always!

Last I read about it, most PG residents were leaning yes as well. There's not really a good reason against it other than "I think gambling is evil and casinos bring about social ills" blah blah blah. I think gambling is stupid, but if someone wants to gamble then go right the **** ahead. At least part of the revenue will go to the state and local gov'ts. It really says something about the merits of Question 7 that the primary funder of all the anti-Question 7 ads is a competing casino in West Virginia.

Yeah, I don't gamble either, but if people are going to throw away money, I'd rather they do it here than WV.

And for what it's worth I also voted yes on Question 4 (Maryland Dream Act) and Question 6 (Gay marriage). Although I suppose that's not really surprising to people who know me.

Yep, same. But for different reasons on 6.

I think we started to talk about this before but how does you state screw them, its doesnt allow writes or something maybe you said?

My wife and I were in a restaurant and the young waiter said to me, did you vote sir...I said yes I did...and I asked him did you...he said yes I did. I could see the kid was dieing for me to tell him who I voted for and i was smiling and I said so who did you vote for young man. He said obama my mother and father would have disowned me If I didnt...they are both educators. I said ok...I was being mean lol...hes looking at me and I laughed and I said I voted for obama too...nice kid and not because he voted for obama either...he was just a really nice kid

It doesn't allow write ins and compared to many other states has stringent signature requirements for parties to get on the ballot.

well that sucks ass, hopefully that changes.

I dont like how PA doesnt allow you to vote in certain ellections unless you are that party, dont know if thats how it is everywhere but i think thats stupid. Im registered independent so i have to change it to vote sometimes.
