Will Puerto Rico say 'Yes' to Statehood?

Fairly simple question, do you think the Puerto Ricans will say 'Yes' to becoming a new state in our union this time around?

No. They'll probably vote to stick with the status quo like they have in the past.

I think they will maintain a free association.

That way they get tons of benefits without having to deal with the bull**** of all 50 states.
Also, we need to legalize recreational drugs and prostitution.

I don't know but they will probably keep the status quo.

That's true, but if they become a state, they'll receive approximately 20 billion USD in aid to help combat crime and boost their economy.

Or they could retain their sovereignty, legalize marijuana, and have a drug tourism economy from the U.S. that will boost their economy annually to the hundreds of billions.
Also, we need to legalize recreational drugs and prostitution.

I like that it almost looks like a peace sign.

    But only almost.

their current setup is most beneficial for them. why become a state when all it means is extra taxes and being forced into the US governments pointless ideological war on drugs?

    That's pretty cool.
If you claim sexual harassment to be wrong, yet you defend anyone on your side for any reason,
then you are a hypocrite and everything you say on the matter is just babble.
