should common core be implemented, and if so how?

Poll would be more informative if you would provide some information about what "common core" is.
 
Common core is national educations standards that must be currently implemented or a state loses Fed funding (roughly 10%).
 
I agree in principle with national standards. Without details, I can't answer whether or not I agree in practice.

Of course, this does sound like another "No Child Left Behind", in which the Fed demands certain scores on standardized tests or they'll cut funding-- without providing anything to actually improve those test scores, and without taking into account that those scores are poor predictors of lifetime productivity.
