Voter apathy most certainly is a problem. I am underrepresented because my demographic doesn't vote and therefore the policies that end up applying to me are determined by those entirely outside my demographic. The rights of my demographic are not protected unless my demographic gets out and votes for them, which means MY rights are not protected unless people get off the ****ing couch and vote.Sorry, but you are incorrect.
My point was a counter to yours. As in, there is no problem.
They shouldn't even be near the polls.
A person's lack of interest is not a problem, but a choice.
Which should never be looked upon as a problem.
Democracy doesn't work without civic engagement.
