I have one on a guitar case somewhere...
In a community that is largely comprised of older citizens, it's never a bad thing to show you, a younger person, are involved in local politics.
Otherwise I vote via absentee ballot for general elections, and no sticker.
I don't think they give out those where I am? Sure, I'd wear it though. Why not? Flaunt your rights!Just curious. I don't because i don't know what purpose it serves to let people know you voted.
No I hate any kind of sticker. Reminds me of grade school
I don't see the connection between voting and applying your brakes. Can you enlighten me here?Sorry dude. It's the equivalent of the person you have to remind to apply the brakes while driving. I don't really want that guy pulling up behind me at the traffic light.
This is still a free country, and some people need to be reminded of that. Thank God you're not in charge of anything.
I do because its a peer pressure thing. It helps people get off their ass and get out and vote. If they see all of their colleagues have voted, they kinda feel like a loser if they don't. And I like my kids to see it...to help instill in them a sense of civic responsibility.
LOL! I understand, but care to explain anyway?
No. Thank you, Cephus. America would be in a veritable s*** hole if wasn't for your genius.Yeah, why would anyone want an informed, intelligent, rational electorate? It's apparently better for people who have no clue what the issues are, what any of the positions of the candidates are, to run down to a polling place because they were shamed into it by some guy wearing a sticker.
Thanks for reminding us why we're in this mess.
The lack of stickers does it even less. The civic responsibility is not voting, it's being informed enough to make a rational vote. Stickers don't do that.
If a person is apathetic about who is in office, they shouldn't even be near a ballot.Voter apathy is a huge problem in America,

Really? If a person is apathetic about who is in office, they shouldn't even be near a ballot.
To have that logistical ability would be incredible, but eventually, that would be really good for democracy.this is slightly irrelevant, but people should be able to register at the polls. If they can, i will wear the sticker.
Sorry, but you are incorrect.Really?
I can't even count the degrees of both obvious and "entirely missing the point" this is.
