The lack of stickers does it even less.

It's absolutely a peer pressure thing. Voter apathy is a huge problem in America, and I think the stickers still have some effect in shaming people on their lack of civic engagement. And you won't get people to be informed without first making them realize they actually should.

I've never been given one when voting.

Where is the option for "sometimes"?

this is slightly irrelevant, but people should be able to register at the polls. If they can, i will wear the sticker.

A guitar case is a great place to collect all your stickers! My bass guitar case is loaded with 'em. Not the "I voted" stickers, but any bumper sticker I like.

In terms of the OP, I wear that sticker proud. I had the mishap of going to jail once during an election year, the weekend before the election. I arrived in my cell a couple minutes before the last group of inmates came back from voting absentee ballots. I didn't get to vote and I was pissed. After that situation, I make sure I get to the polls and vote. Nothing like being denied your right to vote because of something stupid.

    Really?

I can't even count the degrees of both obvious and "entirely missing the point" this is.

To have that logistical ability would be incredible, but eventually, that would be really good for democracy.

    Sorry, but you are incorrect.
My point was a counter to yours. As in, there is no problem.
They shouldn't even be near the polls.

A person's lack of interest is not a problem, but a choice.
Which should never be looked upon as a problem.
