Should it be okay for other nations to send drones into your country to kill or spy?

Please explain what you mean.

If we do not intend to seek "equivalency" and "equity" through government then why should such an institution exist? For power?

Where is the line drawn? Pakistan is supposedly fighting the terrorists, but then they are also accused of sheltering them.

When Osama is found living a life of luxury in a Pakistan neighborhood just down the street from a military installation I think Pakistan is obviously harboring terrorist.

A clearly incompetent government (and perhaps some knew where he was), but still a sovereign state. We did not declare war on Pakistan, therefore we should not act within their country without permission.

Pakistan has done little to help us resolve the problem of terrorists in the Afghanistan/Pakistan region. If Pakistan understands that we're after these guys and refuses to let us chase them into Pakistani territory, then the very least Pakistan could do is chase them out of the Pakistani border (most of them aren't even Pakistani nationals) and back into Afghanistan where we could sweep them up. Pakistan has refused to do even this tiny service after the Billions we've provided to them. Pakistan has practically gone out of their way to prove themselves an enemy of the US. So they can hardly be surprised when US ordnance falls inside their borders. Additionally, they should be happy that NONE of it has landed in regions heavily populated by Pakistani nationals.

Hmm. I don't think I can agree that Pakistan is an ally. They claim to agree to work with us, but fail to do it when the time comes. If Canada were the country in question, there simply wouldn't be a need to send in drones. If some extraordinary thing happened and Canada needed help to get "our" bad guys (too much empty/rough terrain to cover?) they would, not only agree to US drone flights over Canada, they would probably request them. THAT is how an ally behaves. So in my book, Pakistan is not an ally.

Hmmm... Like I said, Pakistan is a strange ally. Sometimes they agree with us. Sometimes they appear not to.

Well, let's just hope we don't get anymore allies like them. We've got enough enemies to deal with.

I don't even like the idea of government drones operating in the USA to spy on its citizens. Its way too "Big Brother" for me.

I don't think that's terribly different from having police patrols out watching for any criminal activity.
