How about we just send all of our Democrats to Canada and let you guys elect them.....you know.....since you love them so much.

We had the Liberal Party for 70 years you can have Democrats for 70 years.

Wow.......thanks.......you get zero points for optimism here. :(

Well it's really the only option for us since our version of the Republicans only gets votes in the 100s if they are lucky.

In all actuality I do wish the US would scrap Article 2 of the Constitution and adopt a Parliamentary system........I can, at least see the redeeming qualities in that aspect of Canadian governance.

Well you would need to get used to having a lot of elections instead of one every four years. You would also need a third party.

Third Parties: Green, Justice, etc.. Though we hate the Libertarians though since Libertarianism here is dead for the most part.

My issues with some libertarians is they want policies that would empower and in enable bigots, racist, misogynist etc.

no thanks, thats not america.

If we could get rid of this debacle every four years that we call a Presidential election ..........I'm all in.

No you don't get rid of it you get more but they are smaller ones.

We just call them crazy and we tell them if they want Libertarianism move to America.

Not the same though.........your "smaller elections" aren't swallowed up by the fiasco that is the electoral college. The idea of "one man, one vote" has somewhat fallen by the wayside in the US Presidential election process.

We don't that either we have electoral districts or ridings. Which ever party gets the most votes wins the seats, then the party with the most seats wins and the leader of that party becomes leader.

Well compared to us your a libertarian paradise.

so you are being nice to the ones you hate but mean to a good guy like me? thanks :(

I'll probably watch either CBC or Al Jazeera.

Forgot about Al Jazeera. Not easy to get where I live. I'm assuming its available online. Last I checked they charged a monthly fee for access to their Internet video, which I'm not going to pay. It might be free now.

One of my biggest problems with Middle Eastern media is their almost complete untrustworthiness; propaganda on steroids. I learned this when channel surfing and stumbled upon a satellite tv channel called Link-TV. They feature daily montages of newscasts from the Middle East translated into English. However, it seems the Middle East news outlets providing the content may create original English language reports if they prefer. Some do, others simply allow their Arabic language reports seen in the Middle East to be translated into English. What is obvious is the news they give their own people is 180 degrees different from what they give their American audience. To their middle eastern audience terrorists are heroes, America is evil, any and all problems of the world can be ultimately traced to American policies and its game on against America. If they do a special English language report it's poor middle eastern women, children and civilians; Israel is horrible; all they want is peace and democracy.

I'll be watching Fox most of the way. The MSNBC folks make me want to throw up, and I generally don't trust most of the other networks.

If Romney wins, I'll tune into ABC the next morning to see if Katie Couric will be wearing black again.

Too bad Jennings is dead. He was always great on ABC. In any event we will be watching ABC mostly

Comedy Central, while obsessively viewing DP
