Forgot about Al Jazeera. Not easy to get where I live. I'm assuming its available online. Last I checked they charged a monthly fee for access to their Internet video, which I'm not going to pay. It might be free now.

One of my biggest problems with Middle Eastern media is their almost complete untrustworthiness; propaganda on steroids. I learned this when channel surfing and stumbled upon a satellite tv channel called Link-TV. They feature daily montages of newscasts from the Middle East translated into English. However, it seems the Middle East news outlets providing the content may create original English language reports if they prefer. Some do, others simply allow their Arabic language reports seen in the Middle East to be translated into English. What is obvious is the news they give their own people is 180 degrees different from what they give their American audience. To their middle eastern audience terrorists are heroes, America is evil, any and all problems of the world can be ultimately traced to American policies and its game on against America. If they do a special English language report it's poor middle eastern women, children and civilians; Israel is horrible; all they want is peace and democracy.

It's completely free you can watch it here. They have tons of interesting programming that you can watch. All of the content on AJE is original done by English reporters, nothing is translated. Most of the reporters are British. AJE is specifically meant for Western audiences. AJE was originally made by a former CBC reporter, it's almost entirely separate from the Arabic Al Jazeera. It's a really good news source, with it's own unique English content. I suggest watching things such as People and Power, Activate, Inside Story, Faultlines, and live from Washington D.C. The Stream. They were of the only networks that broadcasted the third party debates. Just watch it, it's really good.

None, I don't watch TV and I sure the hell have no interest in watching election returns. I already voted, it turns out how it turns out, nothing more I can do about it. Wake me up on November 7th.

Thanks. My concern is is their Arabic language news over the top anti-American, while their English language news is seemingly designed to influence western opinion by people who actively promote American hatred that encourages terrorism?

I just noticed they also an iPad app.

No their English network is completely credible, they have lost their anti-American bias. They were one of the news agencies that said the attack in Libya wasn't because of the video but by terrorists instead, they are very good for Middle Eastern/Asian news.

That's exactly what I mean. Are they pandering to their English speaking audience in attempts to foster pro-Middle Eastern sentiment through manipulation trying to make us think they're something they're not, while at the same exact time indirectly encouraging terrorism over their Arabic lanaguage channel knowing most will never realize it?

FOX if Republicans lose
MSNBC if Democrats lose

The Arabic and English channels are entirely separate entities. The English language channel is credible while the Arabic one is not. AJE is seen as a for the most part unbiased news source. Better yet just watch it, make your opinions. The Arabic network here was banned because of the anti-Isreal and racist content but AJE is not.
