People's vote is the one thing that belongs to them and them alone in the democratic process. They can use it anyway they want, even not use it, and it is fine with me. While I may be curious as to why someone chooses to vote one way or the other, or might even scratch my head about it, to hate someone for exercising their freedom to vote or not vote is fundamentally flawed to me.

My demographic is underrepresented because statistically, my demographic doesn't vote. And I think that's an infringement upon my rights at the hands of my peers in their neglect of their civic responsibility.

Voting without being informed, however, is probably worse. Either way, it's unethical, either to vote uninformed or to not vote at all, because they live in a democracy that can only function given the informed civic engagement of its people.

I think not voting is the worst. It speaks of a complete apathy about the nation and your fellow citizens, the future and other nations who'll be affected by our foreign policy.

Agreed, even if you're dumb or mislead go out and vote. The more voters the better this system works. ...of course it would be better if you spent a few hours researching candidates on your ballots, oh and avoid partisan articles, look for non political sources with simple numbers and facts.

As long as we have the two parties (and I use two = separate very loosely!) we are going to be stuck in the ****hole of the same ****, different election year here in the U.S

Sorry, but Democrats/Republicans - there is no difference and if tonights 'debate' doesn't prove that, I don't know what will.
Just to add to this (once I've read responses after I made this first one) - I don't "HATE" someone if they don't vote or vote ignorantly... I just find that kind of person annoying because those are the people that will be the loudest complainers.

Well, damnit Pinkie, what's a girl to do when she doesn't hate anyone?
