Most Americans might as well be in a coma, considering how ignorant they are.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

There are plenty of qualified candidates that run in other political parties. Until we get control over campaign finances, and put a cap on any corporate donations...they will never be heard.

It is up to you to educate yourself on these people and listen to their views. Be a responsible American and do your research on ALL candidates for the highest office instead of just the two presented to you.

    Yours Truly,

    Responsible Americans

P.S. If you choose to not educate yourself then please abstain from voting.

PPS. Seriously, don't vote if you won't look at all candidates.

    Can't be bothered?

You must not understand how much money it takes to get out there. Republicans and Democrats have corporate groups backing them that pay millions upon millions to get their little puppet candidates on the airwaves. Third parties have to rely on individual donations and that can't even compare to the big 2.

Not all third party candidates want to legalize drugs. Virgil Goode is an example of that from the Constitution Party. He stated in the debate that he wouldn't legalize pot. You need to get off your high horse and stop believing everything the mainstream media puts in front of your face.

You sit there thinking that the candidates don't want to get out there which is a flat out lie. They do, but they simply don't have the money or power to do it which is why we need serious change in how campaigns are financed. Also, we should allow all candidates the chance to be on the debate stage so the people can hear different ideas instead of two guys who are similar in every way minus skin color.

I think there should have been a fifth option: "Lesser-of-two-evils voter who always votes for the same party."

In any event I picked Single-Issue Voters, and would pick them a thousand times if I could. We might as well allow children to vote, as their decision would be about on par with how much thought these people put into it.

Even Teddy Roosevelt couldn't win under this system. That's why we need a runoff. Most of our other elections have them. Then "a vote for Perot means a vote for Clinton" wouldn't scare people away from voting their real choice. There's also an automatic runoff where you vote for your top two choices.

    Sure does in mine.
I hate it when someone votes for or against something they don't understand at all, and I love it when someone knows that they shouldn't vote because they don't understand it. I just think that if you don't understand the issue, you shouldn't have a say in it. Research the topic, then vote. I also think that if it doesn't effect you, you shouldn't vote because you shouldn't have a say in other people's business. Voting is a responsibility, and some people are irresponsible. Responsibility isn't for everone.
