Trump is part of the camp that says privately own companies should be able to use eminent domain to take your land. That makes him an ass so I could care less what he says.

I'm hoping it's something that is not mind-numbingly stupid. When birther nonsense and things like that get covered, it actually makes Obama look better.

Your own community is most likely part of that camp. It's being done all over the United States.

Let me just ask you this about that:

There's 4 acres of ground within the City of Chicago on which exist 200 homes that are either in foreclosure, vacant, falling down, or infested with drug dealers' hideouts and labs. Should the City of Chicago be able to use imminent domain to turn this area into a city park?

I say yes.
 
If it really was "big" then he would release it days before the election not almost 2 weeks before the election...

It still doesn't change the fact it is wrong.The only valid reason for eminent domain is public utilities and public road construction.These things can't really be modified or built in another location like a park or building can.

Let me just ask you this about that:

I say no.Parks are not public roads or public utilities. Besides that those drug dealers and meth labs will go somewhere else and be someone else's problem or just hang out in the park. If the city wants to turn that area into a city park then they can pay the owners what they want for that property.If not then they have no business trying to forcefully take that property.

Apparently, this super huge announcement is that Trump is offering Obama 5 mil to a charity of the President's choice in exchange for college records. Somehow, I just knew it would be lame.
