It's not my country as long as your economy doesn't sink again.

Will you continue on with a negative attitude, or will you 'buck up' and roll with it? In elections past, we've all heard how some threatened to leave the country - and then after the fact, most didn't. And, how long after the elected POTUS takes office, will you expect to see results if 'the other guy' wins?

Re: Your candidate LOSES - what do you do?

Since I've already voted for Gary Johnson, I knew going in that my candidate would lose. No wondering here.

As far as past elections, I have voted for winners and for losers, and I just move along regardless what happens.

    So, denial.

First, I would get to the doctors office and make sure I am in good health, before my health insurance gets changed by my company to something that is cheaper with less coverage.

Second, I would accept the fact the I will owe on my taxes for at least 4 more years. Thankfully the IRS already deemed that I can't afford to pay off what I owe, so they won't come and take everything I own.

Third, I would owe some apologies to my conservative friends.

Fourth, I will sit back and watch Romney not make good on his promises and complain about it here like others who complain about Obama not making good on his promises.

I won't like it, but I'll continue like always. The only thing that could really affect me if Romney wins is if he gets rid of the Pell grant, which would really screw me. Hopefully that won't happen.

Romney will probably lose. It just means more of the same. Continue to become involved in the community, hope to someday split the ticket for the legislature here in order to get a Democrat inside, and more than likely (I'm open to Democratic Party options, mind you) look forward to voting for another Republican four years later.
