What has happened to Obama's campaign?

Far right? WTF is that?

I see 2 positions....and the first one is the correct one

One's on the side of individual freedom and a minimum of state control and power.

The other side is on that people are retards. They aren't smart enough to run their own lives, so for their own good, the elite, the thinkers, need to make more and more rules to control behavior.

If that is all you see then you are close minded indeed. Reasonable people can come to different conclusions on how to solve problems, we have a duty as responsible citizens to understand both positions.

Related, if the other side is simply wrong why bother posting on a debate site? After all what is there to debate if you could sum up all other positions as "incorrect".

Romney also has a history of being able to work with the opposing party, which is another thing that is sorely needed and that Obama lacks.

This is just another one of Romney's lies that he has gotten some guillable people to believe. Take a look at Romney's record in Massachusetts and perhaps you'll see how he is losing his home state by 30 points. Romney didn't work with Democrats in Massachusetts. The only reason things got done in Massachusetts is that the legislature was predominantly democratic and they over-rode 70 Romney Vetos. You have been snowed by the willard machine my friend.

When Romney is elected you'll hear a collective sigh of relief echo across the country.

And when his policies start taking effect, it will be a moan.

Still waiting for 2014 to feel it from O. I would hope the effects of his policies would be more immediate.

President Obama apparently trounced Romney on Tuesday night's debate. But here it is three days later and the Gallup poll shows Romney 7 points ahead. What has happened? Aside from the Republican extreme right wing, don't voters know what they will get themselves into if Romney becomes president?

Romney claims he is different from GW Bush. But if you look at Bush's policy record and compare them to what Romney wants to do, there really is no difference! How blind can the low info voters be! :(

Why are you happy with the failed presidency of Barrack Obama?

So Mitt hasn't told any lies about Obama? Are you new to politics as well as DP?

Seriously, what lies could you tell about obama that are more damning than the truth?

Obama graduated from two Ivy Schools-Columbia and Harvard Law. But I don't think Obama is any smarter than W and is certainly not as smart as GHWB, Clinton, Nixon, or Romney

here are many different forms of intelligence. I knew chess grandmasters who were almost incoherent in public speaking exercises.

and I knew three Rhodes Scholars whose ability to get a date was almost non existent and two of the three were women I'd rate very pretty.

Bush's ability to understand people and get along with them was genius according to former Clinton lawyer Lanny Davis

I've always thought that words like "strategery" were not entirely slips of the tongue.

I don't think you are in a position to actually assess intelligence. Certainly your opinion is a tad biased considering your visceral hatred and far right ideology. Bushie obviously had people talents and his good ol boy act played well with a lot of people. If it wasn't for Chaney's arm stuck up his ass, he might have actually done some good. As it stands he presided over the biggest clusterf**k in recent memory.

Using a superlative in this case with the Obama administration so clearly in view is an amazing bit of selective blindness.

It seems that Conservatism is based on a strong belief in the nobility and the ability of men. Liberalism is based on the strong belief that men are weak and incapable of self determination.

Conclusions on the basic nature of men rise from this as either good and noble or bad and self serving.

So what is the view of anything from the Conservative of the Liberal View Points?

A man is rich: Did he earn it or cheat someone out of it?

A man is poor: Was he victimized by the more powerful or will he rise up again?

A decision needs to be made: A population of well informed people will make a good choice or a strong central group of experts is the best bet in directing society.

Ideas: The best ideas are found by the intelligencia and the society needs to commit to them with no reservation or the best ideas are revealed as the population embraces them due to the value added.

Power: The greatest good can be accomplished by concentrating power as much as possible or the concentration of power remote from the population encourages corruption and waste.

Morality: The notions of good and evil are strictly situational and situations should reform their definition or good and evil are understood and should guide our actions within situations.
