Not everyone that smokes marijuana is an addict. It's addictive qualities are less severe than those of alcohol.
please read my link

what about the second part?
please read my link
Marijuana and cocaine have VERY different effects, and the users typically have very different reasons for using. Give me a pothead any day over someone who wants to be ginned up on coke. There is no comparison.
You have to be more specific than that.
I read your link, and it doesn't mean anything. It looks like a 12 year old's myspace page, and even that doesn't support any of your claims.
i didnt compare.but if you try it today ,it may encourage you to try cocain..
Do you have any idea what a junkie is? A junkie is a term to describe a heroine addict. I sincerely doubt you've seen either a heroine addict or a pothead. They don't even look like the same species.many people drink alcohol ,but they dont look like a junkie.they are just social drinkers.

everything happens step by step ,today marijuana ,tomorrow cocain..the harms of these drugs always seem much more than alcohol can give.you can easily be a marijuana addict without any reason but many people are just social drinkers..
THE MEDICAL DANGERS OF MARIJUANA USE
I will support the legalization of marijuana when one of the two following conditions is reached:Recreational use should or should not be legalised?
My belief is that it should be, and two major parties here already advocate it. What are your thoughts?

And the link you posted is BS and anything but scientific.
Here's a direct quote:
"It has been suggested that marijuana is at the root of many mental disorders, including panic attacks (one of the very conditions it is being used experimentally to treat), flashbacks, paranoia, depression"
I've specifically been prescibed marijuana to fight these exact conditions, specifically oriented towards PTSD, and I can confirm it's helped me more than any legal drug ever has.
A junkie is a heroin user- different drug altogether.
I will support the legalization of marijuana when one of the two following conditions is reached:
1. DUI and DWI rates decrease to near non-existence.
2. Legalization is accompanied by stricter DUI and DWI laws.
please answer my other post . too
okay pothead or junkie ,they may look like each other because of the substance they have been using during their lifetime.and please read all the link.
No, that isn't the case. My point is that they personality type who uses marijuana vs that who uses cocaine is virtually at opposite ends of the spectrum. With drug use, there are certain states of mind that users are trying to achieve, otherwise, they wouldn't use. Same with alcoholics. The difference is (as it applies to the thread), pot is less harmful than either of the other two, yet it is illegal. The government and those who believe that drugs are evil, will try to make you believe that pot is a gateway drug to others. Most of the people I know who smoke weed, use weed exclusively.
No, my conditions aren't operating under that or any other assumption. My conditions are based on the fact that I don't believe marijuana should be legalized until our society can either prove that it can handle drugs without endangering my and others' lives or that the government can force people to handle drugs without doing so.It seems you're operating under the assumption that legalization will increase the net number of impaired drivers. What facts or studies are you relying on for this assumption?

It's funny that you request people to read a link you posted when you obviously don't read what other people write. I'll repeat: you've never seen a junkie or a pothead in your entire life if you think they look even remotely similar. You've even admitted you've never used marijuana. What knowledge are you even bringing to the table?
oaky i know what you mean but
how can you know this lizzie ?
any marijuana addict can be a cocain addict too..we cant make sure
Nope.Ok, so your opinion is: Until every single person in america is a responsible drinker, we should screw everybody?

Because I'm in my 50's. I lived through the drug culture of the 60's and 70's. I've lost friends who were heroin addicts to overdoses. I have friends who smoke pot, and have done so for 40 years. I have friends who are alcoholics with liver disease. I've had friends who were coke-heads. I've watched the effects that drug use has on many people, both prescription drugs, and illegal drugs.
