Stem Cell Research: For or Against?

This is a hypothetical. Let's say that stem cell research did not involve the use of embryos but involved something else which had the same potential and success as embryonic stem cell research. There would no embryos or human life destroyed in the use of stem cell research.

Would you support or oppose stem cell research?

support uncatagorically. There are hidden secrets in this type research that can provide answers and cures for current serious medical issues.
The same goes for vegetation in the rain forests. Look how many drugs and cures have come out of that. So what do we do. Burn Baby Burn

As long as the stem cells do not come from embryos I will support stem cell research.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

I've always supported stem cell research.

Absolutely for it, and that includes government research grants for it.
Also, we need to legalize recreational drugs and prostitution.

I've always found the research creepy, but it's hard to ignore the possibilities. As long as it doesn't involve preventing a child from being born (and as far as I'm aware, no research has even come close), I'm all for it.

I support all stem-cell research, embryonic or not.

Any research that has the potential of curing deadly or debilitating disease is good research.

If you are talking about adult stem cell research, which has proven success and harms no one, I enthusiastically support it.
