I do sometimes think something is wrong with me (physically) but I am not going to a doctor to have them look at me like I'm crazy. My house and bills will be paid for if I die, and my kids will be set. Life happens.....we're all here for the ride. Might as well enjoy it as much as possible.
Working with two teens to take care of pretty much consumes your time. But you have to give yourself at least 30 minutes a day just to out and walk.

Walking is the best exercise there is. No fees, no strain to the knees, and most important it is a way to unwind the mental stress. I think the mental stress release is the most important benefit of walking.

Social Security's dicking around trying to pretend it can get out of paying what it owes me and I tried moving back home and it didn't work. I'm technically homeless right now, but I've got a relatively stable place to couch-surf.

Yes, for my age very much so. But it's all favorable genetics. I eat what I want, when I want. Smoke but don't drink and these days don't exercise as I used to. Never got into the exercise for exercise sake thing.

I did, but it was boring as hell.
I want my exercise to produce something besides a runner's high. Give me a garden to dig or a house to build.

With all due respect, I don't see how the "poll" can remain anonymous when you've asked people to specify "why" or "why not"... which kinda gives up the anonymous part, don't you think?

And no, I am not in good health because I have an incurable illness that physically limits me and will eventually be terminal.

I find anonymous polls to be worthless. in many cases we get non members or people voting while not logged in spamming the polls.

I don't mind the lack of anonymity.....I'll answer. I'm in good health except for genetically high cholesterol for which I take medication. My diet is good, I exercise regularly, not overweight, and virtually no stress. No heart problems either......just darned high cholesterol levels?

I think it was the inner NP in me revealed ... I am trying to respect privacy so posters will vote and only if they choose to discuss their vote are they revealed. I am not sure how well this forum community knows of each other and real identities so i wanted that to be understood. I am genuinely curious and wanted to get as many voters as possible.

Another thought and just general fyi and nothing to do with your post ... I think if someone talks of a personal health struggle it is unethical to throw that back at them in a different thread on controversial topics.

The poll is anonymous and I was looking at sheer numbers ... clearly as I have explained several times in this thread of course if one comments they choose by their own free will to give what information they choose and it reveal their screen name.

Yet, I wanted to see a poll and thought some who wanted to remain anonymous and would vote if it afforded privacy and choose to vote in the poll and not comment.
