As I predicted, Obama's interviews with mainstream media, The View and David letterman were not sufficient practice for his interview with Romney.

You are exactly right....Welcome to DP........It is great to have another Conservative on board.............Looking forward to your input......God bless the USA!!!!

Says the guy who thinks all of the polls are a conspiracy. Old man, you crack me up!:lamo

Never said that. ... You sound like your Daddy Obama now............If I thought that I would never start a poll my left wing friend............

When all you can say the whole debate is that Romney want to give a big tax cut for the rich andd it is rebutted over and over again you are in deep kimchee.

Rebutted? Exactly how? By Etch-A-Sketch lying and claiming that everything he has been talking about for the last 6 months isn't true?

The Republican slogan should be "If you like John Kerry.....you'll LOVE Willard Romney".

ROTFL.....still only 1 legitimate vote and Navy Pride's 18 anonymous ones.......too funny. I think you are the one in "Deep Kimchee" Navy.....LOL

I didn't think that even a clear win would change anyone's mind if they had already chosen a candidate, but I just noticed what's happened at the pink house. There's a pink house in my neighborhood and they're famous around here for the house colors and the political signs they put up every election season for the last 30 years. Almost always democrats (the moderate kind) and they had Obama up last presidential election, and this one too - until the day after the debates.

The Obama signs have been replaced with Romney/Ryan signs, and I saw them doing it, so I know it wasn't the handiwork of vandals.

I'm thinking we may very well see Obama defeated this time around.

What a touching story...too bad it means diddely. Who want's to pay for more tax cuts for the rich?

The only people that said that were your heroes Krugman and Matthews............not the fact checkers....try again my left wingg friend....................Talk about raising taxes if God forbid Obama were to get reelected and he let the Bush tax cuts expire it would be the biggest tax increase in the history of this country on the middlec class......

Yea... that must be embarassing...especially for a socialist. If you could just give everyone spoons and send them out to dig coal mines, you would get unemployment down to 0%.

Yeah, because modern socialism is the equivalent to slave labor... yup.. get real man.. conservatives would just give tax breaks to the rich because you're a bunch of sycophants hoping that one day it'll all rain back down on you like some giant golden shower.. and unemployment would still be the same.

Only if you Republicans keep holding the middle/working class hostage

They might not say so here but clearly there are people in the poll who have.

No, there aren't. There are people who, for the purposes of your poll, say they were voting for Obama and changed their mind. Playing games with these kinds of polls helps sell the notion that the debate was a game changer.

Wow...Navy.....you actually got a second legitimate vote!!!

Wow...Navy.....you actually got a second legitimate vote!!!

Who, Zhak? Don't be so sure.

I'll vote for whomever is running against Obama that has a chance to win. Romney... a fictitious black and white rodent, a small pile of sand.... really makes no difference.
Ditto"' you nailed it ""

That was back in May. And this next one was from April:

No_ re-election- is the last thing I would consider_ with obama''

Whereas ReformCollege, with a "slightly conservative" had this to say:

If you want to know who won, just ask the liberals over at MSNBC.
Chris Matthews MSNBC Meltdown after Presidential Debate - YouTube
Music to my ears.
Are there any liberals who vote Republican?
Let's stop being dogmatic. He was born after the Vietnam War, and chose a different life path. I disagree with him about other things, but throwing in complaints like this just gives the liberals something to focus on.

Less dogmatic, to be sure, but the rest of his posting history puts him out of the enthusiastic Obama supporter camp by a mile.

What do you think? if you were voting for Obama prior to the debate did you change your mind and will now vote for Romney?

No. The president was tired. He's... the president. Goes with the territory. Anyone voting on the basis of Romney being a bit more bushy-tailed than a sitting president is an idiot.

Obama's long face didn't change the fact that Romney can't do math, and can't decide on a position for more than 20 seconds. It was actually sort of funny to watch; like a kid saying he was going to go to space by using his water gun as a jet booster, and a weary grown-up says, "Ok, then. How exactly are you going to get a water gun with that much pressure, and even if you do, how are you going to prevent it from blowing you into a billion tiny pieces before you even break the stratosphere?"

That's how I felt watching the debate. Obama's tiredness only added to the humor of it.

A lot of your left wing friends don't agree with you......They think Obama got his ass kicked big time.

I still don't really like or trust either of the candidates. I want to vote for "none of the above" or "other."

LOL Navy....you'd better hope that YOUR poll is not an indication of the overall electorate. You still only have 2 accounted for votes and one of those two has already been discredited....too use your words...I suspect that you and your weak candidate are in deep Kimchi.

Matthews, Carville to name a couple

First you vote as a lib obama voter then you talk about how you agree with lib spin doctors. I am glad to finally see you turning liberal, my right wing friend.:)

Not at all. Not one bit.

Not at all. Not one bit.

Sorry my poll was not meant for a hard core lefty like you....Hell if Obama was Hitler you and Disney Dude would still vote for him. It was meant for people on the fence.

What if the fence has sharp points on it?:lamo

I think neither candidate came out of that debate with a cracking enough performance to do the following:

A: Bring people over from the other side

B: Make independents choice any easier.

Although having said that I felt that Romney did far better than I thought he would.

I disagree on the independent side. I think in the "governance" question when Romney pointed to the Constitution and referenced the 10th Amendment he secured the votes of many Libertarians. State's rights are a big deal to some of us, and Obama has proven in his policies that he is no fan of state's rights or the 10th.

Yeah... Tell me all about states rights after he tries with congressionall republicans to push through federal amendments on gay marriage and abortion.
