I was also glad to see that President Obama had an off day. (I'll call it that, since I fully expect his handlers are going to beat the daylights out of him in preparation for the next debate.) In the McCain/Obama debates, Obama came off as a condescending jerk, in my opinion. Every response saw him looking at McCain with a deprecating smile on his face that was quite irritating. No such thing here.
Yeah, none of his "other" messages gained any traction so he made a new waffle recipe that pleased everyone, regardless of his secret agenda. In the next debates he will probably wear an ac/dc teashirt.

No ... It was as I expected.

Romney grandstanding and coming out on attack and Obama low key calm and giving Romney some rope for the next month.

The Obama campaign now has all of the material it needs for every ad from now until November 6. After 90 minutes of Romney prevarication, every last statement can be played in an ad followed up by a directly contradictory statement either from a GOP primary debate or from a stump speech or an outright lie.

In addition, the outright deceptions on medicare, unemployment, healthcare etc can be fact checked and Mitt provided his own material for an end of October surprise

many of the Obama supporters are driven by emotion so a logically sound debate by Romney has no effect upon the Obunny faithful

I wasn't going to vote for Obama but I would say that last night made me feel a lot better about Romney if he were to win.

The problem with republicans is that they have no emotions.

This debate would have swayed me to Romney had I been an undecided. On the other hand, it's amazing how quickly the libs have come back swigning, despite their sporting a black eye.

Just think... lefties will be looking like racoons after Ryan gets done with his meat headed opponent. lol

You don't really believe anyone would admit it do you? They'd have to admit they had their heads up their asses for many months, and finally listened. Forget it.

Maybe I'm wrong. They all seemed pretty happy.
Got ya. Just wondered since I had heard that from others. Wasn't sure if there was bad blood I wasn't aware of. Thanks for the response.
