I wasn't going to vote for either of them, though I did go into the debate WANTING Gov Romney to swing me to his side. Didn't happen. For a few reasons.
1) He agreed with President Obama way too much. President Obama hasn't done anything of note in his term so to agree with him on anything is an indicator of keeping with the status quo. You can say OBL all you want. A SEAL pulled the friggin trigger, not him.
2) I don't know if anyone caught this, but, Gov Romney said he would stand up an agency that rates public schools. From what I could tell, it was one of those off the cuff statements to counter a point by Pres Obama. Even if it wasn't, he's wrong because of a few reasons. A) If it was a planned response, it betrays his big gov't nature. B) If it was off the cuff, it betrays his big gov't nature. C) There is already a few private sector websites (greatschools.org comes to mind) that do this. This is just an indicator of the way Gov Romney would preside IMO.
3) I felt he should have represented the anger of the American people a little better. A lot of people are angry with this President. They want someone to tell him that everything is not okay, that it's not getting better fast enough, and that we are tired are tired of the irresponsible spending of our tax dollars. Gov Romney started to do this but seemed to hold back. Screw that. Don't hold back. Go after the guy.
Mr. Speaker, I once again find myself compelled to vote against the annual budget resolution for a very simple reason: it makes government bigger. ― Ron Paul

I still don't know who I am voting for. I wonder if I should vote for Obama, and HOPE that he actually has a plan that will work and let him continue, or if I should take a chance on Romney who will try something a little different most likely. Then I go back to thinking what does Obama have to lose, he doesn't get to be elected again, but Romney would have to perform well to get re-elected. GOD, I'm so confused and indecisive!!!
Still voting for the non-liar in the group.

Those on the hard left .. Nothing will change their mind Just as nothing will change the minds of those on the hard right.
Those that decide the elections in this country are the moderates, and speaking fairly, in the first debate Romney swung more to his side then Obama did. All polls are showing Romney got quite a boost since the debate.
2 more to go .. Lets see if he can keep that momentum going.
