Neither of them will do anything to intentionally inflame tensions with China, nor should they. They're both just talking out of their asses to try to score political points. It's a shame that they do it by stirring up anti-China sentiment though.
pretty much. like it or not, we're tied to China at the hip, and in their culture, this kind of inflammatory rhetoric does matter, even if it's only election year BS.
if we want more freedom to pontificate on China, then we need to increase tax revenue and stop borrowing from them.
