Should Harry Reid Resign?

Should Harry Reid Resign?

He is foolish for releasing ANY of it because all it will do is cause people to spend the next four weeks with one argument after the other talking about his tax returns and NOT the problems this country is facing. And nice continued dodge on the reality that liberals never give a rats ass about this stuff...any of it...when its 'their guy'.

They don't because for the last 26 years Democratic presidential nominees have released a sizeable amounts of returns. Now where are Romney's? I'd like to see a minimum of 5 returns otherwise, like Harshaw, I'll keep asking: "What is he hiding?" :)

No, now you're misrepresenting what I said.

First of all, I was explaining what someone else said. The full context of the thread shows that.

Second of all, the part you highlighted was under the assumption that the short-form certificate was "real."

Also, keeping mind that I was explaining someone else's statement there, it was about something other than his place of birth.

Face it; you didn't even actually understand my post in the first place.

Perhaps the further deflection indicates that you now realize that.

That's completely idiotic. It's the equivalent accusation; I see you didn't even try to explain how it's wrong. When you've got nothing, I guess this is the best you can do.

No mental acrobatics; it's just the way it is, and your handwaving indicates you can't dispute it.

And continuing to dwell on this also indicates the lack of stones necessary to answer whether or not you think the PWC letter is forged/fraudulent/both, as it would have to be not to dispute Reid.

So, answer up.

I am not an expert on preparing taxes and I doubt you are either so we must depend on experts who know. This is what one of them says about the PWC letter.

The letter did not give any dollar amounts of income or taxes paid. And it only referred to adjusted gross income, rather than total income, which can be substantially higher.

"Adjusted gross income is not a full measure of income," said Roberton Williams, a senior fellow at the Tax Policy Center.

Williams said the wealthy often use tax shelters and investments overseas to reduce their adjusted gross income and the resulting tax bite.

"What you'd like to know is what was his full income from all sources and what taxes did he pay," Williams said. "That would give you an appropriate measure of his effective tax rate rate."
Romney full tax history still a mystery - Sep. 21, 2012

He released 2, and you haven't answered my question about the PWC summary going back to 1990. Do you think it's forged or fraudulent? C'mon, Hatuey; it's a simple question.

Like you did with Obama's short birth certificate, I don't think it's anything other than a digital letter not proving anything. - What's wrong Harshaw? What was good for you 3 years ago is suddenly not good for liberals?

Uh, no, don't include me in your delusions. It's a scan of a letter from PWC summarizing his taxes going back to 1990, and it directly refutes Reid's claim.

The only way it doesn't is if it's forged or fraudulent. Which is it?

Why? What is it you THINK he is hiding and what does that say about ANY if the problems currently facing the people of this country? You will keep asking because you dont want to talk about 7 trillion in debt in just 3 years, about an inability to get a single democrat to vote for the presidents proposed budgets, about a failed economy and a 'plan' that consists of race and class baiting and tax and spend. You dont want to discuss bankrupt green companies that just happened to have contributed tons to the Obama campaign, or about Holders failures in the DOJ, or a burning middle east or failed relationships with European allies. You dont want to talk about continued failing GDP. Oh...but you DO want to talk about Romneys tax returns. And his shirt. Must be a slow week for you...no 'news' stories you can turn into 'clear' acts of racism?

Your false dichotomies aren't relevant to me. - So what is Romney hiding Harshaw? ;) Why does he need this letter if he's confident in his tax returns? To paraphrase you: Why doesn't he just release them?

Oh, look at that, Hatuey edited his post after I quoted him again.

You continue to claim I said things about Obama's short-form certificate that I didn't say, even after it was pointed out to you twice, along with the difference in argument even if it had been what I said. If you're right, you don't have to make things up and lie about what others said.

You argued in a long diatribe that the long birth certificate didn't prove much. That Obama was hiding something. Now all the sudden transparency is no longer an issue. I wonder why?

I will accept that as concession of the point, as we both know it is. You can pretend it isn't, but you know I know better.

tl/dr.

What is Romney hiding?
Well...for sure not his college admission records or claimed student status. Not his record of property 'purchases' in sweet home Chicago or how his wife landed a sweetheart job on a hospital panel which she had no qualifications for. Not that...for sure.

If his most recent disclosure is any indication...nothing. Excep[t maybe for the fact that he pays more in taxes than your guy and more in both cash and percentages to charitable organizations than your guys pay. Who knows...maybe he doesnt want the other capitalists to know.

But at least we have a clear Token of where your priorities 'lie'.

He was asked for 10 years. He released 1? Why?

And the lies continue. I wrote a long post explaining what someone else said. Anyone who wants to can read the thread.

And you know it was a different point. This is smarmy and juvenile, but hey, roll that way if you get your kicks from it.

Lol, still won't answer why transparency was such an issue to you 3 years ago but all of the sudden you're satisfied with less than a full disclosure of the information asked for? Yes, I think we both have realized where your honesty lies. In the words of old people "your words will eat you". The ones from from 3 years ago seem to be eating you to the point where you have ducked and dodged them or outright ignored them.

Sure you did. And Harry Reid said somebody else told him Romney hadn't paid taxes in 10 years.

What Matters in Romney's Tax Memo - Yahoo! Finance

In an attempt to smear Mitt Romney, about two months ago United States Senator Harry Reid declared that he had inside knowledge that Mitt Romney had not paid any taxes for some of the years over the last decade. This has now been debunked. So the question is, if a United States senator lies about another American's income tax filings in an attempt to smear them, should that trusted member of civilized government be forced to resign?

There are no grounds for him resigning office by current Washington standards.

But believe it would be good for the country if he were replaced as Majority Leader of the Senate. The Democrats have better people who could fulfill that role.

(Feinstein would be an improvement IMO....)

None of this has any relevance to Reid's claims, the point in dispute.

I know, you got shellacked on that point, and don't have the fortitude to answer the question, so you try to distract by going on to something different -- because, of course, you have to keep up the bravado. I get it. It's cool. But as I said, we both know what really went down, which is plenty good enough for me.

Have at it, brah.

"What is he hiding?"

;)

Maybe because he knows that for every return released liberals will spend the next 2 months talking about all of the **** NOT related to the mess the country is in. You HAVE set precedent.

He shouldn't resign because of what he said. He should resign as Senate Majority Leader because he's a horrible Senate Majority Leader.

Have I? When? I'm asking a question as a 'concerned' citizen. I'd like to know the guy running my country isn't secretly funding some cult. It's 'legitimate'.

Why thats just horse**** son. You cant be stupid enough to believe that so you must instead be deflecting from the obvious truth, which is, coincidentally...deflecting from the facts. Lets talk about any and everything EXCEPT the things that are destroying this country. You obvious allusion to his religion and your continued bigotry is, BTW noted. laughed at...but noted.
