“If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures.”

Hopefully not. It is be none of his business.
I predict he will vote "present" again - after all, he's built his whole career on that tactic.
"We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress & the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution, but overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution."
- Abraham Lincoln
I doubt it. Getting into a fight between his former chief-of-staff and one of his biggest political supporters is a no-win situation for him. My guess is that he'll avoid the topic as much as possible, and if he is pressed on it by the media he'll give a non-committal answer. I suspect that Obama probably agrees with Rahm Emanuel (based on his relative receptiveness to education reform), but there's no chance he'll make that opinion public.
Are you coming to bed?
I can't. This is important.

So I think we should stop buying Mug's root beer for the community soda fridge in the office and instead start buying Barq's. Barq's has bite. Where do you think the president will end up? Will he filibuster our soda dilemma?
I don't believe he should. While I personally would like to hear his thoughts, generally a person of his office position shouldn't weigh in directly on local matters. It just causes too much butt hurt for people who aren't able to rationally discuss the issues.
If, when defending your support for Donald Trump, and your response is,
"But but but... HILLARY!!!", then you lost the argument before you even began.
Wow I've never seen a 4 way tie on a poll on this website before o_O
I think he'll support the teachers just because he doesn't want to get labelled as anti-middle/lower classes. Romney will probably try to take the opposite stance, and Obama will criticize him for that.
Fillibuster and refuse to take a side and anger anyone.
Why? Because anything else is too risky.
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice....shame on me.
